i chocked it up to the whole rotating lineup of musicians thing. William Tyler and Omar Velasco are awesome too though

I think Sam and Clay are focusing on their band, Mapache. They released their excellent 2nd album right as Covid hit. Touring now to support it. No idea if they’ll come back into the Shred fold.

The Mapache guys are no longer in this band?

Wait, William Tyler is in Shred now? When did this happen? Easily one of my favorite guitarists.

I’m not sure he’s still with them. William played with them at Ojai and Felton in July. He’s great. Did an awesome spacey jam at this Ojai show.

@@juanzemke I see the 9/31/2021 SLC show posted on LMA. I will check and see if I hear some Tyler tones. I was so hoping he was a full time member.

@@juanzemke I just listened to the SLC show: definitely three guitarists, and one sounds like Tyler for sure -- most clear on the wonderful Sugaree. I'll keep my fingers crossed to see more Tyler jamming with them.
