Hi, I am Ajinkya & this is my channel AJINXD Artist.
In today's video, I am taking you to the #scrublands of Pune. Most people don't believe me when I show them a photo of the chinkara or a fox and tell them that it's shot right here near Pune. People don't believe it because they don't know that there's an entire ecosystem know as the scrubland or scrubs hardly 40 km away from Pune.
This video is made in and dedicated to the #scrubs and yes, we have to protect the scrubs and all the living elements here. As a tropical forest, this is also a type of forest. It is dry and scarce compared to the previous one but is equally important. The scrubs are largely neglected because all we want is tigers right? The land is rocky and dry with hardly any trees or bushes around, it certainly looks like it's a dead wasteland. Animals and birds living here are shy and mostly nocturnal.
I understand all of these things but they are still present here, living here even if we don't know about it. The land belongs to them equally and the habitat needs to be protected like any other wildlife sanctuary. What I've shown in the video is just on the surface, I mean I have hardly explored it compared to any pro wildlife photographer.
There is certainly more than what meets the eye.

There isn't any specific landmark where I usually go. You can try exploring the Grasslands around Saswad, if you're lucky you'll find something totally unexpected.

Hi can you share the exact location where I can spot the Indian Grey Wolf, Striped Hyena etc? I visited the area today and entered from Pargaon village. But need some idea as to where to look for. Please help.

There's no specific area, I haven't been to the grasslands for a long time myself. I suggest you find a local expert, enquire about the daily sightings and then explore a particular region.
Can you share the exact location of the grasslands. I am planning to free my budgies there it will be very similar to their natural habitat

There are a lot of predatory birds in this area so I'm not sure if it's the right place for budgies.
