Grassland water voles are one of the unique features of the Seven Lochs area - especially in parks and open spaces in North East Glasgow. Water voles have declined by over 80% in the UK over the last 40-50 years, and are a protected species.
This short video looks at how to identify water voles, and how to look for signs of water voles in areas of grassland. it also looks at how to carry out your own water vole survey.
