This is the interview I conducted with James Mountain, the community manager/main interpreter at Grasshopper Manufacture! We spoke in May 2023, and I used parts of this interview for my video analysis on The Silver Case! I did my best cutting up pauses and stutters while also rerecording my own responses and such throughout. I also added visual context during our conversations. Enjoy!

I took it as him clarifying what he considers suitable "salty" language while stating where he draws the line.

@@damian_cross No because I'd presume with him having that position he isn't out here saying a word that in most contexts is a slur. I get that he was clarifying what he would and wouldn't say, because all he said was foul language (or something similar to this), and then proceeded to give an example. Although, the word he was referring to, if he said it, would be a slur and not a curse word; two different things. As an African American in the south, I'm also not surprised with people saying nigga. 💀
