    Looks beautiful and very informative. But the process only for that small area is quite a lot. I imagine how long it will take to finish a big wall.

    Hi Sean. Grassello with Wax is not water resistant enough for the interior of a shower. Our Wall2Floor System, however, is.

    Can you use a rag to apply the wax?

  • @elliotthall4783

    @elliotthall4783

    4 жыл бұрын

    Yes. Over a polished surface, clear wax can easily be applied and also buffed with a rag, if that is your preferred method. Metallic waxes, like in some of our other videos, usually look best when applied by trowel over these kinds of surfaces. Over a textured surface, it can depend on the look desired, but a sponge or rag is usually fine.

    What I dont like in most walls I see done by most applicators, is this repetitive left to right or right to left movement, which is busy and truly not Organic as it is done in Italy. I dont know the gentleman doing the sample, but Venetian Plaster is an Art, in order to render something truly beautiful, you must be an Artist, not just an Applicator, it happens with any Plaster, whether is a Lime-based/Acrylic, Metallics or French Clays. The Italian Stuccos can truly look awful if a color wash is done as a top coat. I have seem Lime Paint done by painters and we had to redo the entire room. That has been my observation!!

    So let it fully dry between each application. If it's darker it can peel - not sounding good

    The same goes for cement and gypsum. You keep troweling a wet plaster or render and it will leave a hollow of you're lucky or fall right off the wall
