So a content creator comes up with an idea for an informative video, creates that video, edits it, and uploads it and you get solid information and all he asks is you consider leaving a like, a comment or if you want a subscription, and that is your response? Are you even aware how KZread works. I say this mostly for your benefit, but also for the rest of us who must endure your presence. 1. Watch the classic Disney movie Bambi” as it has several life lessons, chief among them is “ If you have nothing nice to say, don’t say anything at all.” After you graduate Junior High, you will find this particularly useful in your professional and romantic relationships. 2. Seek treatment for Narcissistic Personality Disorder. Imagine watching a video that’s made to help you and that is your first response. If your insurance won’t cover that, try and practice gratitude and actually leave a like. It takes less effort than writing drivel, and it helps earn Disturbed a whopping .00001 cents ( or Pounds in his case) If both those options are problematic for you, I suggest just being Agnostic about the whole situation and closing the video at the end and then going about your day. 3. Learn empathy. I suggest traveling to a third world country or if you or your parents can’t afford that volunteering at a local charity. It will really help you gain perspective on what is worth complaining about.

I've been playing erlengrat with a dairy farm and precision farming on. One thing I noticed is that precision farming takes into account the whole plot, not just the field. This means if you are harvesting a grass field and your mower goes off the edge of the field and mows some meadow, it will detect the meadow as unfertilised and mess up your score for that plot.

After a bit more testing I found it can give you a tiny boost in yield, I'll do a video on it soon. Or Scroft has one coming I think

One of the issues I’ve spotted is that your environmental score looks to be an aggregate of all your fields. If you put down a production building or animal pen on a field it looks to me that you are screwed. Since your environmental scores control overall sell prices and not yield you can be handicapped permanently.

Interesting idea, I think it might be better where the field fill the plot of land. Multiple fields in one farm land seems to confuse things

Cheers for the vid, I'm getting back into FS, I took a break before PF came out and I was about to buy a grass roller, but I thought I'd check your vid. I should test myself however, as this is a bit old. Strange how you are putting +200 N on the field, my game (in 1.7), I have 70/70 and it says my N is perfect (albiet orange on the scale). If they changed the grass roller behavior, they might have also changed the extra yield you would get by waiting 1 more month after harvest ready. On 1.3 and prior, even though grass was at stage 3/3, waiting an extra month before cutting would give a massive yield boost (can't remember how much 33-50% IIRC). You would also see the texture of the grass change after that extra month, as it shows its much much taller.

They changed the amount of nitrogen needed for grass in one of the updates to PF to make it much lower

Also, the crop scanner might require a certain growth state as it is scanning the crop, not the soil.

I couldn't get grass rollers to add any N. On another subject...can lime be added to grass at any stage to remove lime required notification or do you have to plough or re seed for lime to take affect. I can only get lime to take on grass after re seeding it.

It should work at any time. Saying lime require seems like a bug from base game. Even with the pH down at 4.5 I don't think I got that message.

What map is this? I'm looking for a map with open fields maybe even square fields, any advice?

Why would it act as fertilizer in the base game? Something that needs more testing as it should boost yield in some way or its now useless

It’s still worth using grass roller as it skips a growth stage

@@DisTurbedSimulations if you roll straight after harvest it will show that it is at the 1st growth stage. If you don’t roll it won’t show 1st growth until the next month (if you run 1 day months)

@@jirom71 I just checked (version 1.4.1 with pf) and grass without rolling goes straight from harvested to growing stage 2 out of 3, and grass that is rolled goes from 1 to 2 out of 3, so there is not difference

@@DisTurbedSimulations Haha, your voice, especially when you speak lower, sounds EXACTLY like Joshua (the computer synth voice) from the film War Games. You should open each of your vids by saying, "Would you like to play a game??"" :)

I'm thinking in uninstall this dlc. You can't plow, can't use weeders, the sprayers are crap compared with John Deere sprayer, you can't use roller on grass, oilseed radish is now useless. For me, this dlc destroys the game.

You definitely need a bigger mower 🫤
