Graphing Exponential Functions with Transformations
Learn how to graph exponential functions with transformations in this video math tutorial by Mario's Math Tutoring. We discuss 3 formats of exponential functions: y=b^x, y=ab^x, and y=ab^(x-h)+k we also go through 5 example problems to help you master this concept. We discuss the domain, the range, the horizontal asymptote and how to get a good graph.

Hey Mario great to see the channel is doing great, thank you for all you’ve done over the years.
You deserve so much recognition. Your videos have helped me tremendously!
Mario, you are genuinely the best math tutor I have watched. You make math enjoyable, thank you man.
Love the fact that you pulled up the basics. I could understand this than majority of math videos, very well done explaining 👍
Man is a goat, he taught me more in 12 minutes then my teacher did in a hour
an actual teacher who makes sense
you explain everything so easily and in a basic language
this is the best math tutorial I've ever watched.
This helped me understand so much with helpful skills for strategic mathematical approaches. Thank you so much!!!
your videos are amazing! thanks for all of ur help. truly appreciate it !
In case no one have told u this... You're one of the best professors/ teachers in KZread. If it wasn't for you, I wouldn't able to answer my Math questions. May God blesses you. PS: I have passed my math course, especially in the activities and quizzes.
thank you so much! I have a summative tomorrow and this video saved my life 😁
I literally love you!!! Subbed n liked you are the perfect math teacher for me.
Amazing! This video helped me out so much!
So helpful! Thanks so much!!
Excellent explanation thank you :)
Thank you so much!!!
thank u for helping me understand now i cn finally solve my problems
Amazing explanation!
Had a test today this helped so much thanks

amazing teacher! thank you sir
thanks for the great tips
omfg wait this was actually so helpful im gonna cry thank u so much😭😭😭😭
Mario thank you so much. This lesson was very well explained, and I like your method of marking the shift on the graph first and then using it as a referance point to make a new graph. Wish you all the best!

you teach pretty well!!
Thank you ❤
Really good video I appreciate ❤️
hello! do you have a video about making explicit formulas from just a recursive formula and the value of the first term? If not do you mind making a video on it, it'll help out a lot! thanks for all your help :)

Wow, thanks!
thank you so much for thıs video it really helped me so much
I did a few practice questions involving transformations from my textbook. In these questions, we were given details about the transformations, and we were required to come up with an equation. I noticed that the order in which they give us information about the transformation of the graph, matters. I was just wondering, why does the sequence of transformations matter? Thank you so much!!
Thank you for making the hardest thing to me the easiest
you are my savior i have finals in 8 hours and I'm freaking out
thank you!
thank you.
amazing teacher
God bless you sir
How do we figure out the transformation given a relation of an exponential function on graph but no table of values nor equation given?
my god you are the best!!!
Hello. Your videos are really helpful. I have one question. In #4, is the graph exponential decay or growth? thank you!
This is great 🖤Thanks man I hope you are doing alright in ur life

May i ask, If Strontium-90 has half life of 29 years. What part of it will remain after 60 years.?
@HeyKevinYT
3 жыл бұрын
y = Cb^(t/h) where we are given C=100%, b=1/2, and h = 29 years. Find y when t=60 years: y = 100%•(1/2)^(60/29) is approximately 23.83%

@@HeyKevinYT So the answer is 23.83% of strontium 90 will remain after 60 years??

I'm a bit confused,why is the graph touching the vertical asymptote? 🤔
@MariosMathTutoring

There isn’t a vertical asymptote with these exponential graphs…just a horizontal one.
