i also think same. Tigers acrobatic is overused. Its good for gymnastic sports and few scenes like spiderman when goblin threw bombs. But using gymnastic unnecessarily makes it bad. What we want as a action hero is like donnie chan fist and close range fights + judo style or john wick type judo + gun action.

The thing about Tiger's action doesn't look like action but dancing. I totally agree with this, he is doing the action moves just like the choreographed & clean acrobatics, jumps , kicks. Whenever we see a topnotch action scene it doesn't look so much clean and slow motioned. Action scenes for tiger specifically will look good if it is done in fast & rough. His posture in action also looks like he is doing acrobats intentionally. It's just my thought.

The rawness of action and fighting is missing in him, doesn't look tough

I am not a Tiger Shroff fan by any stretch of the imagination but his entry scene in WAR is probably one of the best action scenes I've ever seen and it won't be executed as well by any other actor other than maybe Vidyut Jamwal. So tiger has the potential, the director just has to extract it from him.

I too casually watch this designer's videos without any experience in design. However, although this guy talks all big big things and critiques a lot, he himself is a below average designer. Saw a couple of his works (that he shared in his videos). They were very pedestrian and amateurish. Don't know where he gets the confidence from to pass comments on some good and big designs.

Yes I feel the same. If SRK and Hrithik will do even half of the action that of a Tiger Shroff they look way more cool. In Jai Jai Shiv Shankar song also Hrithik's dance is very minimal in comparison to Tiger Shroff but everyone only remeber Hrithik's moves and action. Try yourself you won't get any memory of Tiger Shroff in WAR movie but you will definitely remember Hrithik's moments from the movie.

Tiger is an acrobat so when he incorporates his acrobatics into his action he looks like he is dancing. Acrobatics is not a form of martial art to be used in action, acrobatics is to show style and movement. Vidyut is a proper martial artist. His action is a lot more believable than Tiger. Even a simple kick by Tiger is overcomplicated to incorporate his acrobatics.

Ek simple kick Marne ke liye 2 baar gulati maarna hawa me 5 round lena kaha ki sense banti h while his opponent is standing stationary on the ground waiting for the impact. These directors and fight choreographers need to understand ki over use of anything is bad.

Ganapath... for the record, I watched the whole movie... and here are my few cents regarding not just the trailer, but the entire movie in particular... When his career started, I felt that Bidyut Jammwal's kicks looked more realistic and "connecting" than TS's kicks and moves. That was because Jammwal was from a martial arts background whereas TS is from gymnastics balle background perhaps. So, it feels as if his kicks would simply graze the opponent with a light touch like a feather when connected 😂. If you felt the same way, the feeling is mutual on this one. BUT it all changed with this movie. In here, trailer apart, the movie showcases many fight scenes where TS and his team of stuntmen are seen demonstrating some pretty great combat moves along with XMA, Capoira, TKD, Muay Thai and other martial arts combos. In a nutshell, I now feel that TS has come a long way from his mere harmless gymnastics dancing moves. If you pay close attention, you will notice that the story, I feel, got inspired from the Tekken movie a lot... which has similar storyline and is also based on a dystopian future timeline reference. 😊 The movie derives its action sequence inspiration from many b grade 80s martial arts classics such as kickboxer(restaurant fighting scene with Van Damme... which actually has been made better on this movie. yes, you heard me right). The kitchen fighting scene from Bloodsport(which again has been made better on this one)... even Undisputed 2/3 and Sherlock Holmes 😂 and so on and so forth. Simply put, the movie has a lot of cool and well executed martial arts moves that will wow any die-hard combat sport enthusiast such as myself. But if you go out thinking you will get a VFX treat, you will be disheartened as the VFX scenes is not at all as per the current industry standards. So, yea... if you wanna watch this movie for the sake of good fighting scenes, go ahead and watch it. People from martial arts background will be able to appreciate it more as a B grade martial arts flick. And that's about it. In summary, if they had improved the storyline, VFX and dialogue delivery and a little bit of method acting here and there. This would have been a great visual treat. Fighting sequence wise, this movie bags the trophy of being in the list of some of the best martial arts sequenced movies ever made in the history of Indian Cinema( adding it to the honorable mentions of the likes of Mard ko Dard Nahin Hota and Jammwal starrer Commando(part one)). 😊👍

what makes tiger's action look like a dance is probably because it feels like choreographed or scripted due to it going so smoothly. The stunts tiger pulls normally won't work in an actual action scene or not as smoothly as shown.

Also his kicks are shit. In any martial arts, it's a know thing that you need to rotate your hips while kicking. His legs are straight and knee pointing upwards. These all things makes him more of a gymnast than a fighter
