​@yvonneplant9434 Most babies spit out new stuff if they don't like it. This baby swallows stuff even when it makes him shudder and his eyes water. Convenient for parents, but in a hunter/gatherer situation, many things that are sour or bitter are not safe to eat.

I love watching him trying new food. 😊

When our two daughters were babies they ate everything....dill pickles, liver!!!! Then as they grew and went to visit the neighbors kids they unliked Lots of foods!!!!! They learned not to like what they would once eat!!!!

🇬🇧 When my grandson was about Alex's age my daughter gave him some home cooked Beetroot. He had it in his mouth for ages, then chewed it, sat in contemplation for another while, then looked at the next bit his mum put in front of him Then he extraordinarily shuddered, all over, but still ate the 2nd & 3rd piece then suddered again. This is so odd because i do this when i eat Beetroot I love it, but involuntarily shudder after eating it.. How strange we Humans are. My grandson loved Golden Grapefruit, as long as it was fresh, he hated any frozen ( then thawed) or tinned fruit. I just love watching Alex's face & reaction to his tastes of new things, How wonderful to have that privilege! Thank You for your amazing videos Peace & Harmony 🇬🇧🙋

My little great nephew loved watermelon. He called tomatoes, watermelon at first, I guess because they were red too. But he loved them! On day he ate 6 at my house! I was worried he would get sick eating so many but he didn't. His mom didn't cook a lot of vegetables..mostly just fries. So when he came to my house or his grandmother's, he got different foods.
