Very good effort I wish to compete like this. When you mentioned that the range warmup was not hot I knew mentally its already a tough day.
Grant wanted to pay homage to his week with Rick Shiels by sending his first tee shot to the right. Respect

Nice round! The occasional tournament is a great addition to the v-log! No one is asking you to become a full-time touring pro, but a few tournaments here and there is great for content! It allows the viewer to get a good picture of where you stand amongst the guys who are competing at a very high level.

I love Henry as a caddie. He's got the perfect combo of aggressiveness, ability to realize when to take the safer route plus that confident killer attitude that it takes to be successful in tourney golf. I think he'd be a good asset to anyone he's on the bag w.
Micah was probably like "can't wait to play a round not on camera... "

@I8l

@@rustyshackelford986 mm i doubt thats true. If hes shooting 75s on a pro course usally 7000+ and on difficult courses, hes most definitely breaking par on local courses. Most courses for pros cant really hold up because they will just drive it to 60 yards out on every par 4 (some closer, some longer) and stick it most of the time.
That adrenaline is no joke. After shooting in the 70s my whole life, I entered a Senior US Open qualifier for my first “real” tournament. Shot a 90.
It’s a really good, honest depiction of the impact that pressure can have on your game…..Grant shoots par golf on much harder courses that he doesn’t know when he’s filming entertainment content, and capturing this vlog of a competitive round shows you the impact of pressure and when you get over the hump and relax, how much better the swing becomes…..this is really GREAT stuff. ❤
Really shows how much nerves and the mental side can play into it at a tournament level like this, great work out there Grant!

Personally, tournament scores are all that matter to me. People talk about theoretical handicaps all they want but none of that matters if you can’t play tournament golf
There are very few KZread golfers who can keep my attention for a full round. You are definitely one of them!
Great playing Grant! Also great caddie work and commentary by Henry! Let’s see more of this.
Great video Grant.. keep up the great golf and fantastic content on your channel.
Watching this video with Henry as Grant's caddy reminded me of the famous 16th Century Spanish novel by Cervantes with Grant as the wildly optimistic and fantastically chivalrous knight Don Quixote de la Mancha and his faithful, but the supreme realistic and practical squire Sancho Panza. Grant and Henry embody the characters.

The Grant/Henry brotherhood is always a fun watch. Great video, G!
Keep these pro comps coming, Grant. It’s refreshing to see how you approach them.
Great video looking forward to your next tournament. Keep it going and getting better and better do the things you fear and your fear will disappear. Thanks
When there's a little something at stake it makes it entertaining for the viewer. Thanks for putting yourself out there for the content Grant. When year of the beast is around you guys should colab a tourney together. You guys play off each other and settle into golf so well.
Grant that was awesome. You are definitely on to something with these tournament videos. I enjoyed this one just as much. Really really good putting despite the birdie misses. Can't wait to watch the next one 👍
Henry's always a welcome addition to your videos.
That was super fun to watch! i agree... those are super fun as it brings that tournament feel to the channel and we get to go hole by hole rooting for you!
Great round without hitting like I know you usually do. Thanks for taking us along

Nice job Grant. Love your positive outlook on the course. It really carried you on a day you really didn’t have your game. Hey did you hear George Bryan tied for medalist today in his Tour School first round tournament? Year of the beast!
Ah Grant, you know I love these videos! I understand that this isn't your focus, but it's a treat and I'm happy to get them when I can! 🙂🙏🏻🔥
Love the content Grant. Keep up the great work and positive attitude. We can all learn from your positivity!!!!! Well done!!!!
The guy you are with is such a good vibe. You need to get him on more videos 👍
You have a really nice swing, Grant. You rarely overswing and your tempo is spot on. I would say that you don’t practice around the green enough. I’ve watched you since good good and it just seems that that’s your Achilles heel. Keep doing these, they’re really enjoyable to watch. Your attitude is amazing. Clearly your biggest strength. Love Henry as your Caddy his advice "You've done this 1,000 times" was First Class. Well Done Henry
Grant, I played a tournament today too. I love your demeanor and your attitude... I noticed that most of your approach shots are pin high but left. You would have scored 6-7 under if you angle of approach was dialed in, Your abilities are extraordinary. Under pressure during a tournament I have the same tendency to pull or draw the ball more... suggestions?

If Grant could qualify for something like the Colorado State Open and make the cut there I think that would make for amazing content If Grant starts playing like a future PGA Tour pro we would all know, he would pull an Eric Cole and start winning 1/3 of these mini tour events.
