In this clip, Grant Cardone opened up to VladTV about why telling people to follow their passion is a bad idea. He explained that if no one is going to buy the product, your passion doesn't matter. Grant went on to speak about shifting your obsession after realizing when it's time to quit a project, adding that your career should be your religious mission. In other words..if it don't make dollars it don't make sense. Long as u remember that chasing money can become an addiction like anything else. When u start losing your closest friends and family, fucking up your marriage or relationship it's time to pull back and remember what's really real cuz money can do that. Money is extremely necessary and overrated at the same time.

I don't know what happened in his life, but Vladislav has a real issue with needing validation. He just can't help himself. He has to interject himself and what he perceives as an accomplishment on his part into every conversation. It's sad when you think about it.

People take that phrase out out context. If you are not passionate about something you will never put in 15 to 20 hrs a day and give up a social life to do it. Its not be passionate just because it be passionate or your never going to put in the work. In america you can make money at damn near everything but whats going to make you out work and sacrifice? The answer is not money. People will work hard enough to get what they want for money then stop til they want something else. Passion will make you never stop. Maniacal work ethic and drive. Thats what theyre saying. Of course you must also have skill. Also I dont think its about being passionate and thinking that will make you a billionaire but thats an important part of it.

I am twenty-six years old. I go to school full-time and work part-time as a delivery driver. I have four my quarters left and I could potentially making 88K a year or more when I am done. I have zero dollars to my name, barley a full tank of gas, and bills that need to be paid. I honestly don't know how I am going to do this or if I can, and I have debated about selling the little stuff I have or dropping out and trying to find a job again. But, I am fighting damn hard to make my dream a reality. A nice house, an amazing wife with kids, and making enough to live a happy life. Nowadays that dream is seeming more and more unattainable. ps - I have quite of few health issues that is stopping me from working regular jobs like warehouse or construction. I physically can not do it anymore and working with computers is my best bet but I cause enjoy it.

The 4th cardone/Vlad vid I'm commenting on. @Vlad and my Vlad fam. I'm a publisher and know that there are 2 ways to get on the best sellers list. 1. Sell 3-4 thousand copies 2. Or pay $10,000 for the actual ad. Although I believe you should follow your passion...I know for it to be economically fulfilling it should be a passion that connects with a business plan that includes a measurable sales plan. This is the best Cardone/Vlad video of this series, because cardone actually educate. This vid gets 5 thumbs up. Best advice ever.

Passion is joy within and money is a survival tool. Money is cool but ultimately it's just a stress reliever like drugs and sex. Money keeps you from stressing about cheap food, sketchy shelter or home shelters, bills, crime filled neighborhoods, and even bad education.

Free game from Grant, Scott Adams, Russell Simmons, the other billionaire dude with white hair, the Black dude that went from prison to Wall Street, the Black real estate dude (all who should be household names in the Black community), disguised as an interview. Brilliant.

I agree, I've got friends who loves cars, travelling and a expensive lifestyle. They sacrificed years of not socialising and are investment bankers. Anyone that knows anything about investment banking understands how intense the hours are, no days off, no holidays & if you're on holidays you're expected to still respond when you're needed for work. Now the money they've accumulated in that field has funded their passion & funny enough because it works for them they love what they do & are now able to be more flexible with it. The only downside is if you're doing something strictly for the money and it doesn't work out as quickly as you expected, if you're not truly passionate about it you'll give up before you give yourself a chance to succeed. It's happened with me with social media marketing, with certain buying and selling, building certain brands, now I'm in the Luxury concierge lifestyle management which revolves around a specific lifestyle that I like & get inspired by overall, even when it took time to get going I stuck at it because I was genuinely passionate about what I was doing unlike the times I gave up on all the other stuff I was doing strictly because I felt like I can quickly make a nice amount of money from it. Depending on what your goals are, if you can follow your passion and still acquire the life you want then that's great but for most people that generally won't happen so the best thing to do is sacrifice some years, be patient and go all in when it comes to securing that lifestyle you want and have the security so that you can have the freedom to really enjoy your passion. Some people only care about them and that's kool but some of us have an urge to build generational wealth and secure our great great grandchildren futures. Some of our passions costs a lot of money. If you take care of money problems now, you can focus on everything else that's meaningful to you for the rest of your life.

He's great at selling sales, and pretty good at real estate because he actually LOVES it despite him acting like he doesn't. You watch this guy discuss anything more than a few minutes and it inevitably ends with him sounding passionate about real estate.

Truth. Here’s some reality. Passion is define as a strong and barely controllable emotion. That’s going to be viewed differently in everybody’s perspective, but guess where a drug addict following this “passion” we all speak so highly of get them? Passion is emotion on steroids. And if you can’t leave emotions at the front door in a lot of business and financial decisions, you’re going to fail.

No one used electricity or would pay for it at the time but his passion discovered something we now cannot live without. He literally tried 10 thousand times before he got it right lol. Most of us won't do that. If people only pursue money we may not discover important inventions.
