How to be a Winner by Grant Cardone....
Commit and creativity will follow. All the greats commit first in what they become great at. Become your own hero, then you can be someone else's hero. Never reduce yourself to money. If you're short on money, get ruthless about what you know, and get around people who know more than you know. This is how you become a winner!

I just keep rewatching it. He pulls out all of the pain in this guy's life, talks about possibility, holds his feet to the fire, and exudes total confidence. Grant believes in this so much he created a black hole of excuses out of which nothing this guy said could escape. "You gotta start taking care of your wife" was the clencher.

Yea, of course not everyone is going to allow you to talk to them like that but this guy did and that is what he obviously found out very quickly when he started talking to him. A good salesman finds out very quickly who they are selling to and how to sell that particular person and that is exactly what he did here. So no not decent, extraordinary because he DID exactly what you say "not everyone will allow him to do" you obviously aren't very knowledgeable in sales if you don't understand that.

If you say so, every good salesman is going to use a "tactic" as you call it to get the sale. When you are selling someone you want to be able to know who you are talking to so reading said person is a skill that a good salesman will have. That my friend is not a tactic but a skill that is used to close a deal. I'd love to see a live video of you closing a deal without said "tactics" have a wonderful evening.

Grant, love the energy bud. your better than a cup of coffee for me in the morning.quick one, with regards to gatekeepers, what would be your top 3 responses to " what is the nature of your call/ is this a sales call"? bearing in mind you know they are the perfect prospect for your product/service but only have their switchboard number.

''Hi this is Ramon'' '' Is Craig there?'' (just name the decission maker witouth his last name) ''Wich craig?'' "' Craig Langdon'' ''What is the call about?'' '' He recieved a email about it so he knows what it is about'' Its like feel more entitled to talk to the person you want to talk. You dont need to explain everything to the gatekeeper. If you are mark cubain and you call but the gatekeeper aint knowing your name you still not gonna explain everything to her. Its your frame, come over stronger on the phone when you are at the gatekeeper
