I was trying to make granny sq cushions for our 50's coke-a-cola kitchen out of cotton and they just were not comfortable. As you may or may not know the sparkle chairs of the 50's when it is hot in the summer if you have shorts, or skin on the chair it sticks not fun....:( so wanted to make something before the HOT weather gets here again this year. Never thought of using up my blanket yarn scrapes what a GREAT idea. Thanks much!!

I recently purchased a pretty some green blanket yarn and its matching ombre yarn and was wondering what to do with them. I'm going to make matching chair cushions for my dining room and one for the wooden rocking chair I inherited from my Mother. Thank you Jayda. Prayers that you, your husband, your family and all your followers stay safe from COVID19. Remember everyone wash your hands for 20 seconds and try not to touch your face. In a pinch use hand sanitizer that is at least 60% alcohol. Sorry I work for my local Health Department.

I make baby blankets with Bernat Baby Blanket and a 10mm hook, in a "solid granny" (square worked in the round, working in every stitch + increases in the corners). When I make pet blankets, I often use the same pattern and same hook size, but hold at least 2 strands of worsted weight yarn together (up to 4 strands together for DK & skinnier) so I can stashbust. At work now, but will check your Etsy shop for this pattern after work - because I have a wooden rocking chair in my craft room that could use one of these cushions!

Great idea, I don't have these type chairs, but mom in law does!! They would be kinda cool to take to games for the bleachers. We currently use the the newspaper type sit-upons my girls made yrwas ago in girl scouts. Though these are so much prettier than them or the regular foam filled ones. Genius!! 🧶Nameste 🌻🦋🐞💜🐌💚🕉️💙🧶
