I have tried both AGL and Kalinga quartz, including their top range. If you let Haldi on it overnight or 3-5 hrs- stain remains. It can't be washed away by soap etc. It's because you kept it for 15 mins, that's why it was spotless. So if I don't wash it off immediately, then the countertop is screwed up. Be it any quartz of any company. I challenge you to try it. In daily life it is not possible to clean it every time you cook.

@@himadrib4743 Concrete by its very nature is porous, so it will get stained unless you use synthetic sealants. Perhaps by white concrete you mean terrazzo ? Marble chips in a admixture of white cement ? This also is prone to staining. Maintenance and protection is the key.

He did a flame test but adviced not to keep hot vessels directly. Why is he not giving facts. Like someone commented that haldi stains remain if not washed immediately. The guy is keeping one leg in 2 boats. The only advantage of quartz is variety and consistent thickness and colour. The cost is double so any breakage due workmanship will hit you harder.

Both are equal. Increase in price does not guarantee better quality. Sometimes brands who do marketing a lot about quality, you are paying higher price not for quality but for their marketing stunts. Infact in my experience, Liv space and wurfel and others were recommending Kalinga. I didn't find it stain resistant as claimed by my 3-5 hrs/ overnight Haldi test. May be these companies are paying incentives to house renovation guys.
