The old craftsmen knew how to lay the stones the same way without the template. Did it myself without template and it still Looks more organic than the stereotype Pattern shown here.

Fascinating! To begin with, the outer two templates sit partially flush to the top of the framing sett-work. Later, the outer templates sit like the centre one, with all three feet flat on the ground. So do the outer templates have removable feet, or are there special ones with missing feet? Why do I worry about things like this?

They use strings lines a measure normally I designed these for more speed and to maytain 90% and 45 % lin Es across the setts 👍👊🍪🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

David Clarke it’s a semi dry 4/1 sharp sand cement mix use hose after to wet down and clean

What is the dimensions of the template your using?

are you always putting concrete between the granite afterwards?

no we use two part expoxy resin aswell
