Nice content brother, I would recommend replacing the rollers with Nylon Rollers to make the operation even smoother and quieter!

This is the day before we installed our brand new b6765 on July 17 and on the small we had the warm lights we replaced them on the 18th to the bright lights and on the 19th we replaced the arm that was on our old over head screw drive to the one that came with the motor

C.H.I. doors are great , but if I am not mistaken , that wall control has been recalled... chances are that Genie will out perform the LM...tech since '93 that's install my share of LM's

Just got back from Fort Collins Colorado over the summer

They could of mounted the motors off center and put operator brackets on it looks better then angle plus stronger . Also nylon rollers to make the door run quite also smoother . Spray the springs with WD silicon type and hinges . I’m a professional owner of a OHD company .

I love the Genie screw drive it’s an AMAZING opener. I also like the Genie Pro Max belt drives, Genie made the Pro Max name on the belt drives, chain drives, And chain glides, The chain glides sucked even tho they had the same motor as the other Pro Max’s, Might be because the inline chain was a flawed design, They where also sold in the Intellicode brand, For “Pro Max” and Chain Glide, Also: Marantec’s and Linear’s and Xtreme and Wayne Dalton or whatever are probably junk, Genie and Chamberlain are the “Great” brands. Also: WHY IS EVERY SIGNAL garage door brand other than Genie and Chamberlain either Linear or Marantec, Linear’s are LOUD, And Marentec’s, Also: Why do the Liftmaster’s lights blink when you do the sensor, This is VERY ANNOYING if you don’t have the garage light on.

Glad to hear from you again :) Also, I would keep the promax belt drives. They are amazing openers, and should last for awhile yet. If you do end up replacing them, DO NOT use Liftmaster. They are having too many issues now. I'd suggest a genie screw drive.

There’s a difference between Pro Max and ProMax, Pro Max is the same opener in belt drive or chain drive, And ProMax is a chain glide.

The genie pro screwdrive is loud when it closes

It is an older genie, but the casing just got replaced due to an issue many years ago where the electrical cord got cut and melted part of the old casing.
