I was like FUCK NOOOO and had to skip to the end to make sure there's a happy ending so I can prepare myself. My heart wouldn't have been able to take it if they hadn't had a happy ending T_T

@@cixiannn oh poor Lanzhan! The way he looked at Weiying at the shrine when Weiying was coughing! It was only at the end when I realised how much of Lanzhan's behaviour was driven by an utter terror of losing Weiying again. And I love so much how he wooed Weiying into loving him back by offering his undying love all those years. How Weiying started off still trying to run away from him and not understanding him and how he slowly came to appreciate Lanzhan and finally fall in love - OH MY HEART!!! And the ending how Weiying is finally willing to listen to Lanzhan because he finally realised Lanzhan loves him (you know, not mentioning Jiang Cheng, not drinking so much). I find it interesting how it's like there's almost a love triangle going on between Weiying X Lanzhan X Jiang Cheng. Of course not that sort of love with Jiang Cheng - it's a brotherly loyalty - and it feels like he was the one keeping him from Lanzhan, like Jiang Cheng "owned" Weiying and Weiying was too loyal to break free. That final confrontation was just PERFECT. (Also, Jiang Cheng's voice acting there was amazing) Sorry I don't know anyone around me who knows the show. I gotta discuss it with someone! I love it so much!

I love it when people share their love for MDZS with me too! i am really fascinated by the author's writing style, because she has managed to put "life" into every single character, such as jiang cheng etc. lanzhan was probably in lots of self blame during the 13 years, and im really glad that he managed to find the love of his life back in the end T-T and i screamed SO MUCH DURING THE CONFESSION PART AHHH

Now I can die peacefully.😌

HELLOO!! dont worry i love it when people asks me questions muahhahaha 1) only the first 5 songs in the playlist is official, the rest are fan-made (a playlist with only the offical songs would be out soon!) and the songs are only from the donghua :) 2) hmmm there are many singers to the different songs so you will have to search! 3) about wangxian *spoiler alert* Wangxian is a song that was composed by lan wangji, and he named it wangxian. the song was first sang by him to wwx when both of them are stuck in the Xuanwu cave. since wei wuxian is the only person that has ever heard this song, lwj was then able to recognize him on Dafan mountain when he played it on his flute.The wangxian song that is in the playlist is sang by both of them(wwx and lwj) mostly talking about their feelings for each other, and the song's debut was in the mdzs audio drama pardon my bad english and hopes this explains your question!

aww thank you so much 😭😭😭 omg this is such a good question HAHAHA you got me to relisten the audio drama again if im correct, after wei wuxian transferred the evil spell thingy thingy from jin ling after the incident at nie and the confrontation with jiangcheng, wwx acted fine and everything and lanzhan said “weiying” (prob cause his upset about wwx “sacrificing” himself) and that’s when wwx knew he recognised him (this is from the audio drama I forgot if there’s any difference with the novel HAHAHA)
