The History of NYC's "Electric Boogie" by Jorge Fabel Pabon..........One of the first electric boogie contests I witnessed, in 1981, was at Harlem's P.A.L. on 123rd Street. I saw dozens of boogie boys and crews competing that night. That's where I first saw Supreme/Troy dance with Get Loose Bruce and win a contest. There was another crew that wore military fatigue pants and t-shirts, who also joined the contest, they were dope at floats/glides/slides & tickin'. The Float Committee also had boogie boys: Doug, Will and others. Harlem also had Larry Love and dudes that rolled with him

Wish I could be born in the 80's instead I was born in the 90's!!!! The 80's looked like a fun time. And this is what inspired me to be a dj.

Born in '71 and would say the 80's were memorable and amazing, but if I had a choice I would pick the 90's.

This would be 10x better if it was a digital version of it. Whoever created this Y.T. video must have used a turntable from the 1920's you can hear the crispy sounds of the pops and scratches from the dust filled needle as it plays.
flex live brought me here lol
I m Larry so I used to breakdance to this stuff moonwalk and headstand and windmill and do the robot I miss those days
Ilike that joint
I just twisted some Larry O.G....I had to come here
Tickin tickin tickin...freeze.hell yah thats whats up.i use to tick my ass off to this.
it's obvious that this was never digital re recorded because you can hear that is a record on a turntable. can't you hear the scratches in the record
This song is GASSSSS
great song, discovered this on Music Choice's "Hip Hop Classics" although it is titled "Larry's Dance Theme"
