Its not EA´s fault. EA gave Bioware over 7 years to develop it. But Bioware did not know what the game should be. After Ea showed the first Anthem "gameplay" trailer (a different team made it). The developers understood what they should do. No joke. The Anthem we got at release was developed in 18-24 month.

@@hanshaperle6075 EA was the one that forced bioware to use an incompatible engine with the game which is why they kept having issues and constant delays, not to mention the fact that they forced the launch date when the devs clearly stated the game was not ready but because EA wanted to meet a sales quota to please investors it was released in a terrible state, further more EA went back on their word and pulled funding for the game and future development of it so yes, it is completely EA's fault. Bioware was just doing what they were being told, bad decisions are made at the top and channeled down, and not the other other way around.

Then something like a extraction system as well to keep up with the trend this should probably be enough to at least give the game or player rather to comeback and grind as well as giving it a diverse gameplay since not only the pve your fighting but the possibility of facing other player

i wish another company bought this from EA and reworked the gameplay and added many of the things EA was suppose to add : world bosses, raids, pvp, more open world events, and new javelin classes, i feel like you'd load into a full lobby this way players all over the world map

It was DOA(dead on Arrival). Played it day 1. Literally the same shit over and over. The only good thing was world exploration

Some people out there can really pick 1 game and truly enjoy it. Even if it's a dead one. This guy seems like he kept on griding even when there's nobody playing it, honestly respect that. Dude's in his lane, flourishing, moisturized.

This is one game I was heartbroken when they said they canceled the 2.0 rework. Absolutely devastated. This game had so much going for it, a 4 year old could have made it better than BioWare did.

It still sickens me to think about the amount of lost potential they wasted on this game. The cliff notes about the game alone had my mind running on so many possibilities. Free roaming exoskeletons in a looter shooter? The amount of stuff you can build around that concept alone is crazy. Add in multiplayer (coop, pvp) and you got a plethora of activities and events you can build around that. Basically Destiny with way more freedom lol. They dropped the ball big time on this game.

I only started playing Anthem a couple of weeks ago for the first time. I'm really enjoying it. Only problem is finding others online to play co-operative with. I'm lvl 21 and seeing grandmaster lvl 3 seems insane 😳

@BakaWolf-the-Dumb-Wolf if it had been a more complete game on release. Instead of the buggy mess it was. And there was actually some end game content it might have stood a chance. I'm still having some issues with it crashing. But overall I'm really enjoying the gameplay. Story is a little weak. But still enjoyable 😊

No need to miss it, just play it. It’s a decent game after being patched. And you get it basically for free.

I played the hell out of Anthem. I guess one of the few people who really enjoyed the game. Imo it just needed and expansion/ DLC and I’d still be playing it

I still boot this up sometimes and play for an hour or two, I still love it, I just wish they didn't bet against their own game

This could have been one of the greatest games to this day... still possibly my favorite game.!

Any time I see some cool gameplay from this it makes me want to play again and when I do, I’m so disappointed by it

This is like me playing with my interceptor or in other words this man knows his javelin from the ground up you can see how he designed it and knows exactly how it's designed and how it's supposed to work he knows his style of play that's good I really wish they hadn't given up on this game it had so much potential and then they just slapped the entire community this game should have been a Battlefront 2 rough star button and if they had followed through with it it could have been a great game

i was taking/faking a day off for this game.. back when the server open. it was once of the best experience to suit up and fly! so far nothing compare to anthem. yes it does how rough edges.

Anthem is a perfect example of a game thats big on atmosphere and gameplay. But everything else is an afterthought. 😊

Just wanted to say what an absolute humanitarian you are for even giving this game 30 sec of video. It's more than EA or the people that "worked" on this deserve.

Image if this was more than a Tech Demo and they put effort into the game like we really deserved.

I loved this game, I could not find any other players to do those boss dungeons so I ended up leaving too. I could not get stronger gears and cant solo :(

This makes me sad. I wish there was a way we could get this game in the hands of anothet studio and give it the chance it deserves

It’s wild how quickly EA will choose to abandon something that they don’t believe they can milk money out of immediately rather than take the time to fix it.

I always felt that the amount of flying allowed did a disservice for exploring the world. Most of the time it was flying from point A to point B and that's it. Fly here kill things, fly there kill things. I remember flying towards an objective and I ran out of fuel and landed on a random camp that gave me a prompt that some type of interesting research was being conducted in the area. I didn't have time to explore as I was being teleported to wherever my teammates were. I always wondered after that maybe if they toned down the flying maybe the we could have been more engaged in the world they built.

Original gameplay apparently was ground based squad shooter, but someone up the chain had a hard on for the new Iron Man movie and wanted that in the game, so here we are.

Love this game just with there was more worlds or something.

Yes actually. On Xbox. I came back a week ago from a 3 year hiatus and I’m having a blast. RNG loot system still sucks though.

This was the last game I got really hyped for

I was really hyped for anthem, but after I heard that EA cutted half of the map which was presented in the Trailer, I decided to ignore this game till it will be finished. Which never was the case.

the most mesmerising dungeoning and team play experience was made with anthem but EA you know ruined it. still time to time i go install and play anthem but its kind of empty. i wish i can play solo

Whats crazy to me is the game just didn’t have content. I don’t remember having issues with glitches or horrible physics. The game felt great which is why it’s so crazy to me that they gave up on it so quick. They were further along than most games that get released today.. heartbreaking 🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️
