My grandma had none of these things. Great ideas but none of this modern stuff was around when my grandma was alive.

Maybe you should check to make sure the pictures match because the dryer sheet tip ( I’am sure dryer sheets weren’t around in grandmas day ) she is using a scourer sponge

Grandma used as clothesline, not a dryer. Additionally, clean windows with coffee filters, but lady cleaning windows was not using coffee filters; ALSO, store onions in panty hose and picture displayed did not have onions stored, individually tied between each onion as suggested. Have only watched 2mins 18 seconds and I'm done.

These are some good tips, but most not from grandmas....guarantee grandma didn't have a squeegee for her carpet, paper coffee filters, drier sheets, tape lint rollers, didnt have a microwave, or a dishwasher

These are great! Thank you... and no ads. That's a bonus. We were raised with fine Antique furniture, pieces my mom typically found at a thrift store or yard sale and would restore beautifully. For water rings, we used mayonnaise as it had the oil, and the vinegar. Apply and wait till it turns clear, then wipe it off to find 95 to 100% of water stains gone, every time! 😊

No, grandma didn't ALWAYS do these. Thank goodness she didn't use some of them like vinegar on wood furniture.

@bettyir4302 I have natural wood furniture and this next method works for me. If there are traces of water left on the surface of the wooden table, after dust removal, make a solution using a 1:1 ratio of vinegar and olive oil, use it to remove the stain.

For you people who are so picky and critical about “grandma” not having these things…… have you ever heard of using the grandma idea as a concept….. not literal? I’ m thankful these ideas were for modern items and households. I suppose you would have rather had “grandma” give advice on keeping your butter churn clean!!!

Grandma would never waster a dryer sheet to dust baseboards, just a rag. Dryer sheets are too expensive.
