Hey y’all. I had the Sunday album on CD. And there was a bonus with AM 180 live at Glastonbury on it... at the end he explains a brief history behind the song. I know what he was talking about. I been there. Anyone know where I can find that version? Been searching every GRANDADDY live for the track where he gives that brief insight... the CD I had disappeared a long time ago. Anyone able to tell me or link me to that live track where he gives a brief back-story to this beautiful song, please? At the end he says something like, “so the boy grew up and dream time was over...” Anyone, please?

My favourite film of all time. I have seen it so many times and that's also how I found this song

Super lol at the "COME ON! WAKE THE FUCK UP! Nah, go back to bed." line because I've always used AM 180 as my morning alarm and that's exactly how I feel.

That drummer is awesome.

One of my favorite bands. Have most their albums. Love the creativity in their music.

I've heard about strokes for the first time from this video couple of years ago, now Strokes are my fav band, so thanks granpa

The Broken Down Comforter Collection is one of my fave grandaddy cds.best listened to on the floor sprawled among your broken posessions and torn up photographs of all the women you'll never see again,drunk on wild turkey and mellowed by a damn good reef.

I hate that I'll never see this beautiful song live... this will have to do.

Just seen them play to a packed crowd in Manchester HMV Ritz, it was one of the best gigs i've ever seen. Amazing!!!!

I will never be grateful enough to BBC Radio 6 for introducing me to this masterpiece.

I actually saw the movie, and later discovered Grandaddy, and then realized this song was in that movie : ) It was glorious.

They were so good live...had the pleasure of seeing them twice.

hahahaha we play strokes covers.... hint: The strokes sound like them because grandaddy has been around way longer then the strokes. But i love the strokes so no ripping on them.

THis song rawks with happy soothing and overcoming energy, and went perfectlly with the Awesome movie 28 days Later, it that was a horror flick.

I first saw these guys on Later . . . with Jools Holland when I DVR'd an episode ('cause I have no life). Right after that I searched KZread for a video. Needless to say, they're pretty good for an indie-band. And this is a pretty solid performance.
