We visited GTNP from Australia last year and many other national parks as well. GTNP was in our top 3 experiences. It is simply stunning. We did the Cascade Canyon walk and were gobsmacked by the eye wateringly beautiful scenery. There's hardly a day go by that I don't think of our time in this gem of a national park.

We went there from Arkansas in USA last year. We just hit the highlights along with Old Faithful. Thank you for the info about Cascade Canyon because we are planning to visit there in July of 2018 too.

Wyoming is just absolutely breathtakingly beautiful. I wish I had moved there 50 years ago, but it's too late now and I really regret it and all that I've missed out on experiencing.

What a beautiful place! If we look closely we will see Alan Ladd (Shane) riding off into the city for the deadly duel with Jack Palance (Wilson). And who's coming back? Little Joey (Brandon de Wilde) who played the unforgettable role in Shane. A beautiful film in a exuberant landscape. George Stevens left forever in our hearts the image of Jackson Hole and The Grand Teton in the wonderful western Shane.
