When I was a kid in the 70s I would sit in my uncles radio room and just listen to the old records he played. My uncle was blind and had limited use of his legs. He had a room at my Grand Parents they called Dumps (Delbert) radio room. He had so many gadgets, Pap called the radios "the gadgets." Short wave, CB. scanners. He had an Early Kennwood stereo system with 8 track and turn table. The speakers were huge and the whole unit was custom built into a large cabinet his uncle made. This room was all about the audio. It had a long homemade bench for me and my two brothers and a spot at the end for our little cousin's. I was elected to be his eyes for memorizing the buttons and switches and all those dials on some new gadget he bought. I also learned Braille along side him from a book that came in the mail. This music sure brings back some peacefull memories. RIP Uncle Dump. God bless.

Do you have some early Opry shows with Porter Wagoner?

If you put some volume to your shows, you would get comments, otherwise, you're bypassed.
