Why all the negative comments about the pink pants? They are perfect for this dance. Works beautifully with her foot work. Aesthetically pleasing to me- the way it flowed and accentuated her steps. Fantastic dance routine and great song choice. Well done!

I can't put my finger on it, but there's something "off" about how those pants move with her footwork to me. Excellent dancing from both of them though.

@@lordgarion514 l noticed that the pants seemed a little "off" too. Then I realized that the crotch of her pants is too low in the front - looks a little bit awkward. Once I noticed that, it was a little distracting. Personally, I don't care what pants she wore or the color, because they were excellent!

It was a lovely outfit appropriate to dancing with a junior. It would be offensive if the Pro danced in a totally sexy outfit when dancing with a kid. Do we promote the dancer (the kid) or a Cougar (the Pro)?

Great Shag Dancing!! This couple is Red Hot!! Love the way they both move!! Shag at its best, or New Orleans Slide, I like West Coast Shag too. My mother taught me to dance like this, and I have never lacked a partner on the dance floor!!! Woman love this, and they want to dance with you, if you can do this !!!

I love watching them so much , I wish this is what you saw when you went out to a dance club but I guess those days may be long gone .

This is part of Swing Dancing, called the New Orleans Slide or Shag Dance, This style of dancing has been very popular in the U.S.A. for over one hundred years, and there are contests all over the world for this type of dance.

@@prebooomer well the song they are dancing to is an old chuck berry tune and the dance style is similar to what we danced to during the late 50's and early 60's. at the time we called it the walk. we kind of lost this after the beatles came along. i'm just surprised that young people of today would learn this type of dancing

At 2:13 I see a lot of resemblance with the Bunny Hop of the St. Louis Shag done in more laidback way as opposed to how it was done the early Dixie Land jazz used in St. Louis Shag. Always interesting to see how these steps evolved as the music changes with each generation. I've been watching this routine in 3/4 speed to understand the footwork better. Awesome presentation.

My stars, that is some fine, fluid dancing! Some unusual moves and fancy walking. Charming! I had some pink pants and a white top many a long year ago, so I might be a bit partial.
