God the old art-style looks so good, Idk why it can't co-exist with the new style, the moment they allow you to customize your characters face as a whole is the day I'd actually care for customization. It's easy nostalgia bait too, it's not just pikachu and kanto mons, but what came with 'em

I love how the proportions of the old art are more chibi, I don't mind the new style but the old one was fun.

In my opinion the Pkmn TCG had one of the best soundtracks on the gbc. When I was younger I would sometimes just jam out with the music instead of actually playing the game. I really liked the club master theme. Really nice to hear this one!! Brings back the memories!!

"but as it isn't Sinnoh no one will watch it" On the contrary, I've been waiting for ages for a remasterered or remixed version of this game's OST. One of my favorite OSTs ever made, and you did a great job with this track. Would love to hear a version of the Club Master theme redone like this.

This. While Sinnoh and HGSS are my all time favorite, I was very happy when Zame remaster TCG Grand Master Battle theme! TCG was such a fun and underrated game. Too bad it ends in the 2nd game which only expands by 1 Set (Rocket) and some additional cards

i feel you on that one. seems like everyones got the sinnoh bug right now, and it makes sense, sure, but i really would like to hear stuff from all of the regions, including spinoffs, like this.

Me: Those people like using legendries too much. Also me: USE LEGENDARIES AND ONLY LEGENDARIES.

This really gives me Pokémon vibes this should be in the soundtrack for future Pokémon games.

The Gameboy game had a great soundtrack. That's one thing Pokemon usually gets right, it's music.

So, Im just gonna presume these characters here are the TCG equivocal to the elite 4 in the spinoff right? Anyways yeah this theme is pretty cool, honestly I feel like this could bumped up in speed to become an awesome battle theme or slowed down to something like an encounter theme. Though the speed the tempo its at makes sense for a TCG game, not too fast but still definitely intense and pretty cool. Awesome job Zame.

Indeed they are. Each one of them uses a deck based on the Kanto legendary birds and Dragonite, and each of these decks uses a Gameboy-exclusive card of said birds and Dragonite : - Moltres has the ability to get between 1 and 4 Fire Energy cards at random from your deck in your hand when it comes in play, and has a 1/2 chance of hitting your main Pokémon for 70 damage on a coin flip when it attacks. - Zapdos deals 30 damage to a random Pokémon other than itself when it comes in play, and its attack does the same thing but for 70 damage instead. No resistance or weakness are applied, and is a very busted attack in this game if you only use this Zapdos and nothing else. - Articuno can paralyze your main Pokémon on a coin flip when it comes in play. Its attack deals 40 damage to a random Pokémon an opponent controls. No resistance or weakness are applied. - Dragonite heals all your Pokémon by 20 damage when it comes in play, and its attack deals 30 damage times the number of heads you get on two coin flips. Once you beat the game for the first time, you are awarded with one copy of each of these cards, and subsequent victories over the Grandmasters will grant you a copy of one of these cards at random.

YOOOO YES YES YES YES THIS GAME’S OST IS *SUPER* UNDERRATED, NOT ENOUGH PEOPLE REMIX OR REMASTER OR COVER STUFF FROM THIS GAME 💕💕💕 Thank you so much! The Grandmaster theme was one of my favorites! I grew up with this game as a kid! It taught me so much about the TCG, and to this day I only know the Gen 1 TCG rules that this game taught me! Out of all the battle themes, Ronald’s theme gets remixed the least. Which is sad, cause his is such a jazzy bop! I also LOVE the bass at 1:44! It’s SO GOOD

It doesn't exactly sound like a cliche spy theme. It sounds like a specific spy theme: mission impossible. I've noticed this the first time when I was 8 lol

One of the best things that has happened to me lately is discovering this channel. You're incredible.

Zame: "but as it isn't Sinnoh no one will watch it" Me: "Nope; I'm here. And judging from the 1,3k+ views at this very moment, so are (and will be) many others."

This theme is super underrated for sure. Many of the spinoffs in this series have underrated music too. Pokemon Puzzle Challenge has some great remixes of Gen 2's music for example.

You should! While it's pretty easy if you played competitive tcg, the grind and the hunt for cards is worth it. And to my surprise, while the cardpool isn't that big (just around 200-ish), you can make all different kind of decks here. Definitely an underrated game

Always happy to see this awesome track get some love, and this seems like a pretty accurate modern rendition of it. Got the right pacing and instrumentation, and I do love how intense and fast it gets at that bridge. God it's good.

Thank you for taking me away from this pandemic hell and bringing me back to my childhood approximately 5:39. Take this like and sub. TGC 4 life.

Please Ronald's theme next or eventually, there is no remixes of it. The majority of the song is kinda repetitive, but when the part hits it hits. Maybe the song could slightly reworked to better accompany that really good bit of the song, as to make it less repetitive.
