Hope this hotel is still kicking after the invasion, and that their tourism is restored when everyone is safe from Putin.
Hi, i want to know if they took an extra deposit when arrived for the room as an insurance or some kind of it? If yes, how much? I have read that they reserve some money on your credit card, for if something goes wrong and you need to pay extra

Hello, because it was New Year we had to pay the first night up front when booking in case of cancellation this was 5500 UAH. We paid the remaining amount on arrival for booking. I don't recall any other payment for something going wrong. Some hotels do take a pre authorisation for things like extras and minibar but I don't think they did this.

@@MemorySeekers hi thanks för your answer. So if I book on booking.com and I pay everything in front i would not have to pay deposit when I arrive ? That's what I understood. 1 more question please, is the hotel 'geust friendly' if you know what I mean :) I will travel alone but I do not know if I need an 1 person or or 2 person room if I invite a lady

Hi I think it will depend on terms on booking.com sometimes depending on the room they sometimes take full payment at time of booking. You will need to read those terms. We usually book all our travel on booking.com but for this trip we booked directed with the hotel as it was quite a bit cheaper. So you may want to do that. Email the hotel they are very friendly and helpful and I am sure they can sort out any concerns you have. And yes they are very "Guest Friendly" :)
