Grand Gulch - Bullet, Grand Gulch, Government Trails (2024)

We started at the Bullet trailhead, walked through the Bullet chute, joined the Grand Gulch canyon at Kane Gulch, and exited Grand Gulch canyon at the Government Trail. We hiked about 25 miles in six days, exploring many Ancestral Pueblo (Anasazi) cliff dwellings and pictograph panels. Perfect Kiva, Jailhouse Ruin, Green House, Green Mask Ruin, Dead Spar Knoll pictograph panel, Big House, and numerous other pictographs were visited. Traffic was light, but steady, after we got beyond the heavily trafficked Kane - Bullet loop.
This hike took place in late April and the hikers were Steve DeHaan, Scott Koop, Glenn Remelts, Peter Vander Meulen, and Joe Vander Schuur.

also, hiking with ski poles is about as geriatric and useless as tonight's presidential debate will be.

2 mins of music and photos for an intro is poor production. I like most of the rest
