Hey all :) Sorry about the slightly clickbaity title... I was originally planning to make the whole finale into a single 1,5h video, but it's just growing too big to handle for my laptop/video editing software. I still stuck with the "finale" title, because this episode contains the part which has the strongest feel of a "grande finale"... So let's consider this a multiple-episode-spanning finale then :) It may be one more part on fri feb 10, or 2 more parts on fri feb 3 AND fri feb 10, depending on how it works out. Anyway, in the next section of the finale we will take on the more technical problem of dealing with the (non-)existance of quantum biters in the void... Stay tuned :)

iam also prepering this type of event her is the reson why i need more space than 35400 chunks most are oucupied by coal liquiphication there is a over 121 trian roads limiting my space also the ginourmus production block of iron plates,green circuits,red circuits,blue ciruits the slowest of all,copper plates,copper wires and i even created my own type of bus it is called the fluid bus simple from OIL,heavy oil,light oil,water and anything that is fluid also i use the gaint fluid storge and gaint pipes for overflow problems this is just the first base out of 19 other ones i have 25 mw reactor (also needed mods) my base is so big that i cannot even use he spidertron with all legs also called(the god of all spders) isnnot enought and at last in the middle of the base are the 8 rocket silos and my respawn point because i endup blowing up a reactor for fun and the old ship also dg spider tron and my gaint builder and attacker army also my base is shaped like a demonic skull

@@Xeromorphic not only that the editing is part of the suffering the ways to hide that your game is laging alot my game with humungus base is ruming at 54 fps because the mods but i realy need them also how to kill your game make the circle out of either red belts or blue belts and then hold a realy big blue print while on this is how you do it

It’s amazing looking back on how far you have come - from the first days of worrying about having enough iron for bullets, to having a stockpile of artillery shells big enough to clear the entire map thrice over. 27:55 I remember back in episode 10 when you had to construct a 2-gigajoule accumulator array like a madman to absorb the incredible power drain from a handful of manually-directed laser turrets, and now the lasers are barely a blip on the, er, “radar”.

I don't think enyone has ever attempted a "No inserter" run. You would have to hand feed everything. Not even logistic bots would save you, since you still need to insert from the chest to the machines.

“Arty party” … seriously this channel has the best puns and alliterations. 11/10 would anxiously await video premier again.

The radar wall is the icing on the cake for the insanity that is this play through.

I think you walked outside your inner limit of "mike was here" when doing the nuclear expansion....

I enjoyed the Grand Finale, and am looking forward to the Ultimate Finale, and the Super Deluxe Double Finale after that.

The Magic Smoke is what keeps my computer alive... If I cleaned it, it would most likely spontaneously combust... When I shut it down, and restart it, it takes 28 minutes to reboot... It takes even longer to shut down... The wonders of Technology.

Yeah, that may be a fun aftermath thing to include. The most daunting points where running the temporary base to get flamethrowers (ep2/3), and the race to claim the first iron outside of the base (around ep 8-10 I think). After flamethrowers, you can defend annything, and after spidertron, you can... offend anything lol

When nuking the nuclear plant island, didn't you go over the self-containment limits that you draw on the rest of the base? wasn't the spidertron farthest to the right than you may venture into? Wouldn't that mean that you are spawning new chunks of land on the invisible portions of the map?

The slow buth smooth ups/fps drop is the game slowing down (but still, more my systems limitations than the game). The jarring, frame-skipping stuff is probably either recording software, or more likely, aggressive windows background processes processor-time-prioritization

Absolute glorious! Thank you so much for this series. I’m hoping for a 10K spm base with enemies as the next series but that may strain your computer even more. Let the next project be whatever you feel like doing. Just discovered this channel WAY too late. But hey, now I’ve got some good content to watch for a while!

Watching coordinated artillery barrages wipe the red Biter bases away line by line was like watching someone use a power washer on them and it was unexpectedly and immensely satisfying.

It was a bittersweet experience to wake up to this video with a nice cup of coffee, until I heard there's more to come! I do have a terrifying feeling that there may be something lurking beyond the border now though...

Noooo!! I started that series and thought that it was finished now I need to wait impatiently for the rest of the videos to release.

Today I found interesting mechanics for space exploration mod: you can actually disable landing pad by unloading few rocks inside platform by external signal which can obtained from single dispetcher via radars between terrains. Now i able make new kind of logistics with same settings in all platforms and without inserting manual settings

Yeah kinda, could have predicted it mb, it happened because of all the logistic reuqest chests at the walls requesting shells for the land arty turrets, the bots then take from the closest one so the center stays full

I never thought I would feel bad for the biters. Especially not in this series, after everything you have been through in the beginning. You already achieved world peace by not polluting the bases and producing 80 (I beleive) science per minute sustainably. But you had to go and massacre all those biters who are just standing there, minding their own business. You monster. Little Johnny was the foreshadowing of this onslaught.
