As a South African... i know Keith to be that judge who gives spotlight to his contestants... he allows hus contestants to mature in their art of music without interference...getting the best out of each of them.

He’s such a star. Love him on American Idol he was the best judge.

He is far better suited to The Voice Australia!

Several years ago, I was with a group of work associates waiting for our flight out of Atlanta's Hatfield airport. A young man sat opposite me, chowing down on a hamburger. I immediately recognized him, Kieth Urban. So as not to draw attention, I gave him the thumbs-up, and he replayed with the same gesture and squared off to catch his flight. Now that was pretty cool, I thought.

It’s hard to believe that as a coach Keith has never won the Voice in Australia. Most Aussies have no clue how successful Keith is in the US, mostly because country music isn’t popular in Australia. Also many only think of him as being Nicole’s husband. That’s why the better singers/contestants don’t choose him as their coach so he always ends up with an average team.

it's a shame. I'm not a country fan, so I'm not super familiar with his music, but whenever I've happened to see him perform I've always been struck with his talent. I've also always thought he's sexy as all get out, so if I were on the voice I'd have to pick him regardless lol

You have zero idea of what you are talking about!!. Before any American knew of him he WAS successful in Australia ..l bought his debut album and his songs were played all over the radio ....again you have zero idea!! That was 30 yrs ago before half these contestants were born!!

@@ykook7000 not in the terms of being hugely successful like for example INXS and Savage Garden IN Australia, he simply wasn’t at the level. Keith had to go to America to find that same level of success. It’s just a fact that Country music isn’t popular in Australia, only in small niche areas like Tamworth.

AND when he 1st went too the USA, Slim Dusty and his wife, gave him their Permission too Sing 'Lights on the Hill' as So Slims wife Joy wrote the song, Slim recorded it!! AND it became huge in the USA. I went too the USA 25 YEARS AGO, and I was amazed at how many American Truckies Just loved Slims songs, and especially his voice!! AND I had never hitch hiked in my then,+ 35 years of life, but I was talking too a Truckie, at a Truck stop in San Diego, who ironically was taking an 80 ton load, too Dallas Texas, and we just both knew being about the same age, we could both trust one another!! Anyeay..he Had 24 of Slims C.D's in his Truck!! AND that's All he played allll the way too Dallas!! About half way, I said 'I know your a Truckie Clint' ( Mcdonald) but!! I didn't think ude understand Australian country and western songs!! He said ' Pllls don't b offended Pete!!' But!! Slim Dusty sings straight from the HEART!! AND u just cannot falsify that BUDDY!! AND he's got THEE best voice I've ever heard in my life Pete!! Better than Merle or Johnny cash!! Clearer and I just grew up on, was raised on Merle and Johnny!!😊BUT!! I've seen both of them at the Grand old Oprey Pete! AND!! I seen Slim Dusty sing there too!! AND!!
