this is so nostalgic , i remember playing this game back then when i was in elementary, i was so hooked up by this game coz i like the graphics and the gameplay ,

i love this game, i remember my childhood memories.

Grandchase for its age was really a fever dream. It has so many unique classes/characters that no companies ever thought of like Amy's Muse or Ley. Their creativity shines a lot compared to recent games

Geez the nostalgia in this just hits hard

the graphic is underrated for the current's open world meta, but still gonna play this for nostalgia

I remember getting everyone to at least 3rd job b4 the game shutdown. I never got to finish arme's 4th job cause weilding a lamp that cant be used for attack is hard

A lot of people hate on the job, but Lire 4th job is my favorite job in the game . So underrated imo

what in the world, i remember i used to play this game for a little i think a few months before it closed down. idk why i never thought to play as amy?? theres no class ill ever love more than a bard 😭. o well

That was actually changed during the 2nd Job Reworks. so they reworked SpearMaiden, Xbow, and Alchemist play style

@@fadhilaiman7812 Unfortunately they never did. They just "reworked" some of them. Such as Alchemist having an actual "useable" fighting combo instead of just placing bombs and jumping backwards, However "BigBomb" the 3rd special kind of sucked damage wise after that. They did a bunch of reworks to 2nd and 3rd jobs for the original 10 MP characters. But the ones that stood out the most were Spear Maidens Dash, Dive Bombing, Alchemist Damage Combo, Dragon Knight's lack of Dragon. But they made Lass' Assassin and Dark Assassin alittle more friendly to use, Ryans Sentinel and Viken Classes a bit easier, Sieghardt had more rage infused stuff. Amy had some of her damage and visuals redone. But the overall "Reworks" were more noticed on the OG 3

Anyone remember someone / a company tried to implement this in steam 2012 - 2015? This was when standalone/non steam servers and elsword were different handlers. Exact same steam store number I think?

I’m still mad with what they did to Ronan’s second job. You call it a Dragon Knight by removing his OG 3rd skill of summoning a fire breathing dragon?

Hell yeah man! I was so mad with what they did to Ronan in general. Nerfing him so you have to mix and match between his white and black magic/skils. It was way better pre-season 5 when he had all 3 of both, not having to mix-and-match. Was sad when they removed Arc Breath as his 2nd job's 3rd skill too. Man, leave my boy Ronan alone! My favorite character deserves better. I hope they somehow decide to revert him back to pre-season 5 when Grand Chase Classic comes back in August.

Maybe they changed her in season 5? They did for Ronan. He used to be able to have 3 white and 3 black magic skills but in Season 5 he can only have 3, he can mix and match from all of them but he's stuck with 3. So no more Rune Spiral and Holy Bless, Giga Crash or Blast Bomb, and Kanavan Strike nor Lunatic force. Either or. Still sad about that to this day as a Ronan main! Happy the game is coming back, but still heartbroken about Ronan, since the game is coming back in the state it closed in, Season 5. : [

Actually I remember only Ronan's first job/class having his options limited, but he gained 3 more when he activates that big magical sword If I'm not wrong he maintained his skills in other jobs/classes

Spell Knight / his first job was one of my favorites to play though, and had some of his funnest skills so that's still a major let down! Rune Spiral and Holy Bless are iconic, yet I have to pick between one or the other now. Same with Giga Crash and Blast Bomb--Kanavan Strike and Lunatic Force. ... 😨 what if they change the other jobs some time after classic launches? gotta get those classes ASAP and have fun while I can just in case

After all, I don't think it would raise money playing around with an old character He gained that extra bar with all his classes after all The 2nd, he gained more mobility, the 3rd he became able to create a barrier and the 4th triggered some random spears I think

I remember maxing out every character to 85 and then they did the free currency for gacha rolls I did the full dragon sets and amulets for being able to spam armes 3rd skill and amy's 3rd skill almost one after another it was great times.

but you all know that KOG will release Grand Chase classic in august this years right?

I remember the first-third season of grand chase where Alot of it's high tier items were OP that they decided to discontinue it on it's next season.

@@MegamanZXHero I'm assuming that works on her party members too? Seems neat. I like the support skills some characters have, like Ronan's Holy Bless or Ryan's Ressurection. Unneccessary skills but the option is there if you wanna be a king

That's why the private servers didn't get hit with a cease and desists until recently. Why did it get hit now of all times? One word. Rerelease.

@@aljon5947 Bruh GC ain't WoW. GC private server donation is so little that they're basically non-existent so the owner is paying out of his own pocket for server maintenance. How you view such thing as "abuse" is beyond me. No matter how much you deny it. The reason for the private server's closing is because KOG decided to rerelease classic GC to pander to people's nostalgia because ALL their active games are failing (Kurtzpel, Elsword, GCMobile).

(It has been 6 years afterall), BUT, I definitely will miss my 2nd Anniversary wings, which you could only get for playing during the 2nd Anniversary event. (Which was when I first started playing!) And my Alternate colored red Zero set, which you got by Pre-ordering him prior to his release. (Zero the Hero was the name of the set, and there's still an image of it on the wiki I'm pretty sure) I'm sure everyone had some cool stuff they didn't want to lose too, but honestly I'm just happy the games coming back at all, going to enjoy it while I can!

@@XexalSeyer what i'll miss most are my ellian accessories. The shield, circlet, wings, necklace, ring, and foot ornament. If i remember correctly, it was +3000 on atk, def, vit, depending on accessory, then mana generation bonus.

Sieg is still OP for me especially Gladiator and PK

But there's skill that missing tho, example like 3rd skill jin that i remember 1 or 2 type for 1st job and you only show 1

yea u can throw jins staff and have a hidden monk like stance like 1st job only real ones remeber jin and sieghart with the button press jf moves

you missed after skill-grab tricks......or multiple grabs trick. by the way, its fucked up when the gc release just 4 characters and archer was so hard to use when you gonna fight in gorge since there was harpy there and when one is noob to solo gorge, one couldnt kill it since it fly so high.

finally downloading it in july 2021 and its not launching sigh

the video would've hit 1 hr+ if you include the optional skill tree skills too

kinda long comment but tldr: me rambling about the PT-BR and ENG dubs i never played the original grand chase, just the re-release on steam, and because i'm brazilian i played with the PT-BR dub one day i tried switching my language to english to see what it was like, i got some good laughs cause the voices they choose dont match the characters AT ALL lol two of them that really stood out to me was amy and veigas in the ENG dub amy looks like a tomboy??? idk how to describe it but its very different from the high pitched PT-BR one, it just doesnt suit her and veigas is a really funny case because in PT-BR he is dubbed by charles emannuel, the same guy who does rigby from regular show. when i first heard it i tought it was 100% cursed, but it strantely fits well with his personality, and then the eng dub just made him sound like a 13 year old LMAO

I wish they make a mobile version of this.

@@XexalSeyer She was a interesting character for me and had a interesting combat style. Her basic attacks were throwing these dark orb's, each one slightly pushing her back, I guess to keep distance between her and the enemy in the middle of her attack. She could also teleport which was useful for evading some attacks. She was also able to summon. I didn't find them all that useful or was probably doing something wrong.

@@XexalSeyer Late response, but Ley was widely considered to be one of the most broken characters in pvp. Not sure how she fared in pve.

this was still imo one of the best games i've ever played was so hilarious, even the terrible voice acting made me lmao many times. 4th class elesis ftw!!!

The mobile version would be better if they still have their job system. Unfortunately, they did not include it.

i'mma be honest even though i love gcpc, Grandchase mobile actually has better arts(ofc), Grinding, system and etc, it's also much more F2P friendly than the Pc version too, the mobile version of grandchase for me is pretty much a 9/10 it's a nice game idk why people hate it for no reason, ur not a true fan of grandchase if you hate the mobile version even though you haven't tried it at all

@@kaltsit4539 The thing about mobile Grand Chase is that it kinda lacks gameplay. Sure, there are some tactical elements to it, but it doesn't compare to the original 2d fighting platformer vibes with several characters, all with different gameplay styles. MGC is more of a RPG, which is way better than many mobile MMOs for sure, but still kinda disappointing for some of us. MGC also is horrendously optimized. Especially after the latest updates, a good number of people keep complaining about sudden crashes. MGC also has a much more strict "meta". You can't progress too far by simply playing with the characters you like. Luckily my mains are Amy and Arme, both of which will forever be great, but Sieghart and Mari fans are crying in a corner. So yeah, people have good reason to flame the mobile version, but in the end I agree with you, it is still a good game...Or at least it has the potential to, after they fix these damn crashes.
