Love the matches followed by the breakdown. I was not familiar with the necessity of getting your feet under the hips for a belly down knee bar. He seemed to set that up by figure 4ing the legs before he rolled belly down, putting his feet in position to finish as you mentioned. Thanks coach

Hey coach. I like the constant repeat of video. Saves me from doing it. Short and sweet. Top guy did a poor job of backpack. But otherwise bottom roll was excellent.

May I suggest doing a video on the "gift wrap" position, I'd like to hear your thought on entries to it and why we don't see it much in professional matches.

Why is it that we don't see more leg locks in MMA? I thought they would have become more popular in the past couple years but haven't seen many if any.

David because when you attack the legs it leaves you open to heavy strikes. So if your leg game isn’t on point you will likely get pummeled before you can lock in the sub

Hey coach Firas I really like the tutorial videos you put out I was wondering if you could please make a in depth lengthy video or a series of videos on ground and pound defense for MMA and or a 1v1 street fight situation. There are a lot of videos on KZread on how to do ground and pound but not very many at all on how to defend the actual strikes themselves, a lot of the videos on ground and pound defense on KZread just usually show a sweep but don't address how to defend the strikes when you're on bottom, was hoping you can make one on how to defend strikes from the guard, half guard, side mount, full mount and the worst position belly down flattened out rear mount.
