​@@eduardolobos7380Andretti Racing was in 1996. I think that was the 1st Formula 1 game for PlayStation 1. Released in 1996 but has 1995 Driver roster, including Mansell at McLaren, M. Schumacher with Benetton, and Simtek pair of Schiatarella and Jos Verstappen.

Driving slow cars was one of the joys of Gran Turismo. All those license tests with them and then racing them taught you it was important to be smooth and carry as much speed as possible. That is the point of racing.

The song is actually called "Freedom to Win" by Masahiro Andoh. It just seems cheesy when the Japanese release plays its own jazz score during races compared to the licensed soundtracks in the US/EU versions.

Niccee, the very 1st playable Gran Turismo demo

The handling model in this demo looks a lot closer to GT2 than GT1. In GT1 cars have a tendency to oversteer during braking, but here the car remains stable, like in GT2.

One of the best tracks of the first Gran Turismo, shame didn't appeared anymore in GT games Another shame is the fact the final game just had 6 cars at race until the GT4, i remember a user that tried to add more cars in race but then the game crashed like that

The GT4 iso is a dvd9 (the size is 4.94GB) the coolrom iso is working, you can download from there

Well idk if you’ve watched the whole video and seen the frame rate, texture glitches or the fact that you can’t have 13 cars at daytime (only 8) and the replay. I’m pretty sure they did only six to save the ps1 from melting lol

I think after the patches were fixed the game couldn't handle that many racers.

What is that? How many cars on the track... is this real? I always thought 6 was the maximum. I swear if there was a way to make more than 6 cars appear on the starting grid, I would play this game again for hours and hours. Some people say they put a limit of 6 cars to save PSX performance. But even today, with emulators and more powerful PCs, wouldn't there be a way to make a mod that would provide this?

Ps one and gran turismo, yes nowadays there is ps4 and 4k and all the power of new graphic, but..... Ps and gran turismo 1, what else?
