THE WHEEL!!! The countersteer is a must have when to do these bumps in the turn... speed up in the turn and let your "accidental" oversteer push the other out of the way. It's really clever to get away with anything. Get on the inside in the turns and put that pedal down "oh sorry it wasn't on purpose"..; your backend will push them out, you have an excuse, and countersteer recovers for you. I bet you can win any race with that system with no penalties.

I have a hugely hard time getting rank ups because of overly aggressive players going for intentional contact. They force you to break late where you have less control, miss the contact then s shape to go for a second attempt. They most likely bomb their stats but if they hit the doors sometimes you get penalized as well and you lose stats

Just dirty driving nothing more. On the second incident this guy doesnt even turn into the corner. Just driving straight to the outside and pushing the other guy of the track. The true issue with that sort of cheesy racing is that the advantage you gain on people initially is the deficit of clean racing and respectfulness that they grant you. It's absolute abuse of the players, and the intended rules of the game that's only savior is the unpredictability of racing and unintended contact. Never hesitate to shameless pit these people into the wall. It's the only way they learn how silly they are.

So when someone hits your car gently in a corner, like would happen at any touring car race on the planet IRL (not counting the last attempt... that was shocking) it's a "dirty driver" but when you do a bit of "door rubbing" or turn in late on the inside of a corner and cause a collision... that just "racing"

Anyone who's watched the BTCC for a while knows that little trick as the "Plato nudge"... Get on the inside, tap the inside rear quarter of the car you're trying to overtake, they lose time as they correct the inevitable slide it induces...

Alright. In some form of closed wheel racing (btcc and NASCAR) some of these over takes are fine, he's just opening the door. The ones however where he then shunts the guys off the track after the prying open of the door _is not_ okay. I tend to race clean, but I'm not scared to assert myself and pry open a couple of doors. But I would not then squeeze out that person on to the grass unless either they wrecked someone or I genuinely didn't like them. I'd just take the racing line and step on the power.

One thing I hate so much about gran turismo sport is that stupid ghosting thing, even "turned off" you still ghost when you slam into a wall. This is supposed to be a "real racing simulator"(their words not mine) and cars don't ghost in real life so at least give us the option to turn it off completely. And please polyphony digital please give us the option back for a horn!

Xbox Forza Boi here. GT Sport looks like a pretty cool game, I like a lot about the tracks and the car selection and how the racing is implemented, BUT, every time I watch a video of you playing it I can’t help but think that might be the worst chase cam in all racing games. Im super triggered by it. Also, that Dirty Mustang Driver: Judging by his driving I imagine that he’s one of those people on these racing games that is under the impression that as long as he can get any part of his car alongside before the apex of the turn, he should be left the space. It also seems like he thinks any corner can be an overtaking opportunity as long as he gets some of his car alongside. Im sure he cant understand why everyone keeps turning in on him. If you aren’t able to get at least a front wheel alongside in the straight line part of the braking zone, while also being able to slow down enough to not miss the apex, then you really should just back out of it. Thats the general rule of thumb I use anyway.
