The intentional ramming is crazy, last race i was rammed off twice, first time i got a 3 second penalty and the person that put me off didn't get a penalty and the 2nd time i got rammed i went airborne and landed in the pit lane and i got a 3.5 second penalty, they need to somehow stop these people

Yeah these type of players are pure scum. I decided to give online a go for the first time, kept getting pushed of the track by the same guy but I was better and kept ahead of him until he just flat out smashed me of the track after the straight and only got a 3 second penalty, I lost 7 positions 😅

Some people just take all the fun out of Sim racing . The only good thing about Sim racing is that you're not rebuilding your race car .

If we had to pay for damage nobody would hit anybody considering how many people complain about how hard it is to get money. 🤷🏾‍♂️

Like a permanent damage model where’d you’d have to pay to fix damage. That would definitely slow down the nefarious drivers.

The thing is this will also punish any clean drivers who get rammed or pushed into a wall, it will only cause races to be very strung out. People will leave and at the end of the event very few drivers will be left, it won't do anything.

I try to race clean as possible. Cuz you can't help hit somebody when they slammed the brakes on in front of you trying to get you to get penalty points and of course it succeeds. But I hate when people are racing dirty and I say something to them and they're like quit crying you're the one that hit me when I absolutely did not hit them.

When will they change the ANNOYING penalty for crossing some pit lanes while the car is being computer controlled. Drives me crazy.

Therefore i never enter due to working in shifts.

Some thing i wanna see in gt7 is zenvo tsrs and monaco and koenigsegg

From my point of view, since Forza Motorsport released, driving standards took a nose dive. Completely turned me off the daily races as well as world series. Could just be a coincidence, to be fair. But it's just my opinion. Another factor could be how so many creators were theorising about and drawing attention to a certain racer with a risque pink livery, whom I shall not name. These videos, for the most part at least, were made with the best of intentions. However, a side effect was that people were shown what is possible to do and get away with penalty free. It's also very disheartening that the poor standards are trickling through to the open lobbies.... You might not have asked for my point of view, but I thought id push my way through regardless, and just give it. As seems to be the norm in game. Thank you for reading!

The heavy damage isn’t really damage. Poly refuses to implement real damage models into the GT games. This is why I prefer ACC when racing and damage realism.

That simple licencing acc only has a hanfull of cars campared to gt7 500 cars. Road cars is much tougher for devs to put in damage on in racing games today

To get companies to license their cars, they stipulate that damage must be minimal. If Polyphony put full damage in the game, they would lose 3/4 of the brands.

I canceled my PlayStation plus subscription because of dirty drivers roaming and cheating . They need to fix we’re players can report dirty driving behavior in the game .

Two more issues that needs to be addressed is the amount of foreign accounts entering in other regions(taking points away) and higher rated GT1 players entering GT2 for the excuse of practising.

I just got a pc and now trying out iracing. I love gt7 but just want it to be more realistic.

I haven't really touched GTWS since they made the changes to times and damage etc. I'm in GT1, so penalised with limited time slots that simply don't work for me, especially at weekends. Heavy damage hasn't worked at all. I refuse to spend time practicing and qualifying only to have my race ruined on lap 1! I will never qualify for the live events, but I've been punished to squeeze the aliens in to tighter lobbies.

I'm new to PlayStation and GT, does anyone have any ideas when a new GT will probably be released ? What's normally the time frame between games.

Years!, feels like 10 years between games.. GT6 came out approx 2012 and GTsport came out late 2017. GT7 is still 'new' so, don't hold ya breath 😂

Finally people are waking up. I have been calling this out since the xb one days. Not because I hate xbox but I could see things going this way even back then. But no I was called a console war idiot and a Sony pony because xbox fans wanted to blow big daddy phil

Completely understand the consternation about time slots, but I'm wondering if it is so few slots because of the total number of GT1 drivers? Are there enough to support a ton more slots?

What about, why do the amount of available points per race change race to race? 1st race I did 1st place was mid high 30points the 2nd race 1st place was 48points both races had 16 drivers. This seems pretty suspicious.

Worst change for me was patching that easy money glitch on Daytona, who cares if we could get 700k off one race, gives people a reason to play it and experience the more high end expensive cars in the game

Yup! Add that to the gift structure that disregards the star ratings... you can get a 4 or 5 stars and still end up with 10,000 cr an 8500 cr exhaust that can only go to 1 car that you already have, or the invite to a car you already have. In the era of smart computers, it's silly to imagine it can't take these things into account.

Tidgney likes the heavy damage. But wants gt1 to have 1 time to race only. Have 10 different time slots. Once you race that’s it. That way people don’t intentionally hit you & re race in a different time slot.

He wasnt proposing one race for GT1, he was proposing a dedicated e-sport division that has one slot so then GT1 can have the same times as GT2 & GT3. That way everyone in GT1 isnt grouped into the same level as those seriously competing and the e-sport division can have its own rule set complete with stewards, streaming, etc.

I’m seriously considering deleting this game because of the poor experience in online mainly because of lower ranked drivers and some with higher ranks. Some of the drivers suck and it’s nothing you can do about rammers and wreckers

I have refused to race in it for a year now intentionally ramming ain’t cool at all . Real sim racing or even car racing yes there is power restrictions but you can tune your suspension to your liking per track. It’s a shame there is no banning reporting like in acc or IRacing. I have only been doing full racing rig for 4 years now but it seems if you want real competition and racing just go straight to iracing and acc both are big hurdles to learn but so much more satisfying. Side note about acc though don’t go into open lobbies whatsoever it’s a demolition derby gain your rank though solo races,championships and career mode.

Car x has better graphics and better drift feel so fk gt

I'm D S rated. Every time I'm doing well I just get punted. I am a safe driver but it's like " I've lost so you can too".

in the event yesterday, I only took part in 2 of sessions due to the frustrations caused by dirty drivers. in the first place, why are drivers with SR C or B being included in the group of SR A and S players? when I saw it, I already expected them to cause problems and I was right. I started the event with SR A which in itself was unjustified because I was demoted to A a couple of days ago in races where I was rammed several times out of track and ended up finishing at the back in 3 of daily races B. I was surprised that I was the one getting demoted. In the events yesterday, those SR B and C drivers did it as expected - just ramming their ways to the front early in the races and ruined the races for the rest. the penalty for intentional ramming was only 3s?? those who got rammed lost so much time, that 3s is a JOKE! I gave up only after 2 events because it was frustrating AF! PD should consider harsher penalties or start ghosting everybody at corners like in Forza. that way, those dirty drivers can't have their ways.

In Porsche Unleashed these pvp races were done in ghost mode..... problem solved...Duh !

I was racing on Sunday on qualifying guy from Germany had pole position by a country mile as he was lapping people he was deliberately nudging people to ruin lap times

Include terminal damage, and introduce a driver scoring system like ACC uses. Currently there is no incentive to race clean

Far too many kiddies and crashers play it.. I've totally give up with this Arcade racer. Ive sold my PS5, bought a Gaming PC. Now I have joined a League to play very good racing sims. Should of done it years ago tbf. It's a shame about GT7, but when PD and sony don't give a damn. Whats the point.. ??

One thing I would like to see is a segregation between players who drive manual and players who drive automatic

Anyone who wants to have genuine online racing thats worth a damn plays either iracing or acc....both are managed by people that will suspend or ban you for driving like a jerk...especially iracing where you need to pay for the subscription to race so there is more to lose. I went to iracing 3 years ago from GT and havent looked back. I only play GT now with friends in private lobbies who cant afford to jump into iracing.

No incentive to get good enough for GT1 class because you end up with less racing slots. They also need to STOP putting events on Wednesdays especially for those who work during the week.

I got 140 races online, about 1/2 of those races lve been rammed off track for just no reason. Went from B/S to Low C/S in last 2 weeks, this game is getti.g to be a joke online. It's got so much potential. Needs heavy damage on all daily races, and a better penalty system that is justified right. Bunch of BS all I see is non sense . Is really a shame.

Gtsport was better.
