Super GT took this challenge irl, unfortunately due to a sudden Meeting with Barry R he's now with Paul Walker, Senna and Lauda.

The "ghosted out Ayrton Senna, quite a harrowing sight" comment had me in stitches hahaha. The legend lives on!

I recorded a clip of me on the track in VR where I completely rolled the car. I wanted to puke. Was one of my top memories in this game, would absolutely do again.

Seeing the driveshafts exposed and spinning at an accurate speed, coupled with the visible suspension at work, is so cool. Gaming is epic.

Addicted to this race in VR. The most fun to be had. Now if they'd bring the car back to the showroom, I wouldn't have to rent one every time

Only expensive car I've actually bought, worth every credit. Once you put a turbo on it and start getting it to slide, it's a dream. Love just rising it up high and soft and just throwing it around in VR. Feels great.

I’m telling ya man. This game in VR is the best gaming experience you can currently have.

This was an absolute funny yet awesome race! I ran this once and WON! Started 3rd, and got punted into turn 1, but strangely, the punt itself, stabilized my car and gave me a boost out! After that I kept the lead by about 1.3 seconds cause the guy behind me kept overdriving out of the turns! It was fun! Let’s do it again! I seem to win alot of these races at Monza

These cars are awesome. I love the you can see the rear axle driveshafts spinning. Such detail makes me happy.

I thought that, although it was one of the most difficult races I've tried in GT7, it was also one of the most fun as well. there were alot of accidents, and i messed up on quite a few. but finally managed a 7th, 4th, 3rd and 1st. (1st only by driving consistently, and the person in 1st happening to spin out late on the last lap, otherwise that would have been a 2nd) That first corner really was a huge crashsite for almost all of the races I was able to do. It was chaos, my only chance was qualifying in a good position and trying to avoid the inevitable pileup, hope not get rammed trying (which happened a couple of times, right into the next dimension, lol 🤣). After the first lap, the gaps opened up considerably so then my attention just turned to making that chicane without crashing, even at a lower speed. when everyone was being professional, it was awesome to see and hear those old F1 cars around such a historic track.

This was my first race experience in GT Sport as a new PS5 owner. I loved it and won my fair share of them. Truly was a great racing experience. I'm so lonely.

@@tjdagreat2915 oh man, it was a really good racing experience. The sausages kind of punished people who tried to be overly aggressive whilst passing on the corners, and I really enjoyed the quick acceleration of the cars. 🥲 I miss companionship.

This combination has been so much fun in VR.. anything in GT7 in VR really, but this one was particularly fun!

This race was a blast in VR! I love this car 😅 It is extremely fun to play. It slides with every hard taken corner, breaking zone is stupid long, but the way it drives or rather swims through the circuits... 🥰 A gem in my virtual garage 😁

I found that the breaking zone wasn't actually longer, just that the car is better at slowing down even more so when going less than 55. I was still breaking at about the 150 sign like I would GT3, but I had to hold it just a bit more into a trailbrake to kick the car into the chicane. As you said slides just a bit with hard taken corners and since it was a 5 lap race I was happy to destroy my tires lol.

@@AkibaMomoro I was driving at wet Spa as well, it was pretty funny 😅 All cars were breaking half way I did. That’s why I’m saying it has long breaking zone in compare to modern cars. But even on Monza one delayed braking, one mistake on the kerb and you are dancing or flying on the sideways 😁

This was my first daily race in VR, and it was quite an experience going up sideays on two wheels clipping those sausage kerbs! Parabollica was a mare in this car too.

These are my favorite kinds of races, reminds me of an event in GTSport where it was F1500's around Monza lol

Trackmania vibes with the ghost and the sound of the engine

I hope more classic F1 cars get added. Like the MP4/5B, Ferrari 41242, Red Bull RB6, Lotus 49, Lotus 43, Ferrari 312T2, Benneton Ford B194 etc

This was the most fun daily race so far. I've managed to put together a 1.56.9 lap and this got me on pole a few times and I managed some start to finish P1 wins. Very cool.

This really was fun! I also won some races with lots of carnage mainly behind me. It was good that the crash kids mostly could not hit me while taking the first chicane, so if you managed to pull head then, chances were good for a win.

You gotta love Steve’s matter of fact commentary

There's something to note that this is a grid start race. I'd love to see these grid starts even more.

I enjoyed the race massively, even if i jumped sometimes from curb to curb. But the formula one sound on a track like this, very enjoyable.

@1:57 I want to say this was caused by a error in the game, because of how the game checks your track position as you drive around. Maybe it thought your car wasn't within tack limits and just reset you to the last point all four wheels where within the track limits.

The people who designed this car also designed a car with a magnesium body which John Surtees called a death trap. Jo Schlesser drove it instead for two laps before he crashed and the car instantly ignited along with 58 laps worth of fuel.

You look at Monza from a satellite as in Google Maps you'll notice something is missing compared to U.S. tracks. There's not acres of asphalt for parking. Everybody has to ride the bus. Well, back in the day, it was either carriage or certain types of "business leaders" would ride to the race on the backs of residents who owed them money.

4:06 quiet an accomplishment whilst in a classic racing car at the first corner at Monza.

You can turn that off in setting, it automatically sends you back to track when going off road for certain period of time......don't know if you can in daily races but.....

I've accualy turn the car around once at that kerb at Ascari, i not even knew at that point that was possible in gt7
