That's definitely it. Been watching too much wrestling on TV. Kind of reminds me of Giant Haystacks when I was growing up (really showing my age there). Someone who's getting paid in one form or another to act the cartoon villain.

I would rather be featured for being a competent driver with good sportsmanship. But that's just me.

His prior behavior has turned him into the community punching bag...good for him. Nice podium finish!

Kimi sleeps upside down in his wardrobe at night and keeps the curtains drawn in the day time and lives on a diet of road kill and the odd spider

The pure fact that KIMI is still in top split with Sr. S is all the proof you need that the current penalty system is utter garbage! PD not doing anything about bad driving standards makes a mockery of those mandatory sportsmanship videos one has to watch before entering a sports mode lobby for the first time!

What penalty system? He didn’t get even the 0.5s of penalty during this race. Should be at least couple of times 5 seconds and shadowrealmed for the rest of the race with DSQ result in the end.

The main objective for every single race Kimi is in should be to crash him out as soon as possible. After that the rest of the race can be a reasonably nice on with some nice racing. Kimi has shown so many times that he can't/won't change so there's absolutely nothing wrong with taking him out every time possible. Trash is trash anyway. Actually ending Kimi's race in a wall should be a bigger reward or prize than actually winning. Because every time Kimi is out it's good for the community and for the game.

They say if you read the rulebook front to back, you'll find every loophole there is to the sport. Happens in MLB, NFL, NASCAR, Tennis, FIFA, NBA, you name it. You said it better in this video than I ever could, but I'll keep my eyes peeled whenever I get into Competitive Mode in GT7.

Nice one, I don't usually like watching this guys actions but that was funny. I see his messages translated meant "the bad guys have killed me" which im guessing he was referring to you and Pinto the Swiss driver 😂 and "the beers have kicked in".

So apparently, now, if you're defensive driving down the final straight and another car is on your back end, they can simply merge through your car and take the place... as happened to me at Watkins Glen in daily C today. Likewise, I got a 13 sec penalty for one wheel clipping the pitlane line, but the guy ramming cars off the track left, right, and centre got zero penalties. Great!

at 7:50 mark Kimi said that "the beers started to take effect"

Man GT should do something about the push em off the track deal. I was just sailing in like 5-6 down the strait away. All of the sudden. For no good reason the POS next me just rips over and throws me off the track. I pulled it together. I'll get them on the penalty right...The problem is not he rules. The problem is drafting doesn't hardly work. So it doesn't take anyone very long to realize even the low rated players often know the lines and you won't be able to pass them. That is unless they make a mistake. The next logical move is force errors. That's why they lovingly refer to Sport as Demolition Derby.

The Spanish Guy/Kid just said in the comments: "the bad guys have killed me. The beers have had an effect" :D

When I was doing 'Need For Speed HP2' on-line racing back around 2000 - 2002, there was a guy from South America (Brazil?) with similar tactics. Also had some 'cheats' he used to get ahead. Ruined the racing for everyone when he was there......

I hate dirty drivers as much as next guy but the game allows guys like kimi to be famous. So he's right to do this.

Has anybody ever had any kind of interaction with Kimi outside of the races like in Playstation chat or the in-game pre and post-race chats?

How the heck is he staying in A S, is there a guide on how to be dirty without being punished 🤣

Not a GT player for context, just my thoughts. -I think Kimi's just worked out the nuances of the penalty system and knows what he can get away with. Either way, I definitely agree he's a dirty driver, and is probably laughing about all the attention he's getting.

He drops down to the lower lobbies, races clean for a while to get his S rating back then starts causing chaos until he loses it... then rinse and repeat!

9:07 bit of a dirty trick here: if you’re awkward like that, facing the wall or something, just go to menu and let the cpu sort out the mess on autodrive. It’s usually faster than I could ever be. ‘No, you buy pledge’ lady to the rescue!

Works well on wet tracks, but dry, hesitates sometimes working it out, loses more time. Triangle is mapped for reverse, no hesitation…

My gf perfected the art of just pausing the game and letting it do the corners for her when I try to get her to play with me. I was both disgusted and amazed. If you pause at just the right time it's honestly not bad on braking and entry, but it's deliberately slow on exit

People let this clown get away with too much. If you're going to get back at him, do what he does: don't punt, sideswipe/push off track from the side. He does this because he knows it won't give him a penalty and it's still very effective, and punting also runs the risk of ghosting. Don't try to pass him like nothing's going to happen. Bait his sideswipe, brake before he goes for the move/let him pass then you're in the more advantageous position for dealing with him. You'd much rather be behind him than in front of him, whoever is in front is much more vulnerable.

The fact that a player with such manners could keep existing in "A" class racing turned me off from GT7. I fought long to rank up to that class and was so disappointed that dirty drivers instead of being filtered out from it - proliferate there 😢

In the interest of don't feed the trolls. If Kimi is in a race all other cars should not drive. Don't give him a race or chance to play the way he wishes. Don't move, don't drive, don't engage. By driving he is getting what he wants to be famous as a rammer. Exit the lobby and start the next race After a while there will be no 'fun' for him.

I don't keep up too much with GT drama, has Momoz calmed down?

Well, that’s just it, innit? Pd don’t do penalties on agressors if they’re subtle, so Kimi doesn’t even get noticed. I’ll bet his sr says A. But if you go into Barry, you sure do get penalised, quite apart from standing still and picking up damage. Pure victim shaming. Apparently the algo just isn’t smart enough, and the instruction vid on fairplay is so much dung.

We have a similar driver in Australia, but he never gets out of the D-level lobbies. It took me months to get out of those lobbies as he would be there every race ensuring contact with as much of the field as he could ram. Hoping Polyphony/Sony create a means for removing the repeat ramming scum who make it their mission to wreck other people's races.

@@Wanted797That's the guy, and you forgetting about sportsmanship is exactly what he wants. My last encounter with him was the best. He was going for a ram into pit lane on the last lap. I slammed the brakes just as he went for the side-swipe, making him miss me, but he flew into pit lane himself as I casually cruised over the finish line. :) Haven't seen him in ages. He was DD or E, and I am CA now.

I ended up being able to put him into the wall. There’s a short on my page of it. I haven’t seen him in ages either. He was D when I versed him a lot. Only saw him once in C.

I can't help but think he's a top-level driver and that's why he's not banned they know it said person doing it for fun winding everybody up. But he's also the reason why I don’t want to race online gives GT7 a bad name for the game, and amongst other bad racers too that I came across before.

PD do not seem to care about Sr, nor the report feature… the amount of people who’ve been wronged by this guy who have obviously reported him and what.. he’s still racing? With an Sr rating of S!?
