Do you play around with you tune settings or have pre-copied tuning?

Best drifting I've seen on GT7 yet mate. Coming from a real world (retired) pro class drifter in Aus(some of my drifting on dalbymotodrift). Gives me hope about the physics on this new GT. Normally drift a bit in Assetto, with mixed feelings on the physics (likely just need a better car mod), but this looks like it has potential. Keep up the great driving mate! :)

@@kwangzzz yes it’s diy. I just rigged it up to push a button on my controller. It is not connected to my PS4 through usb.

So... how do i stop my car's behind to ending up in the front? Are you inputting clutch in there at all?

How much force feedback do you set for drifting? I usually race with quite a lot of it, but drifting feels like it requires less or am I wrong? I'm trying to do the (most annoying mission in the game) drifting mission with the Mustang from the third set of missions. It's so badly setup for drifting and using the circle to kick in the handbrake on a G29 is not ideal...

@@chiefsupreme2144 the original g29 is way smaller than my real car steering wheel. I wanted something a little closer to that size

The smoke is so thick you don't see it when there is drift in real life

I can’t drift to save my life in gt7 with the g29…any suggestions ? Force feed back settings ?

This makes me feel even worse about my drifting lol. I was great in 3Aspec and GT5 but gt7 physics are hard to figure out, crazy understeer and car wants to over correct after oversteer with just minor adjustments.

Including the games ppl ignore for drifting like nfs shift etc. at this point I feel like I can drift in any game lol same with real life it’s just too expensive lol

Yeah man, I can drift well with the controller, really well with the old Thrustmaster, but now I'm using the G29 on PS5 & I literally cannot get the hang of it. Super frustrating as I was putting some good scores down with the thrustmaster 👎🏼

I’m having trouble drifting on gt7 like it’s not the same as sport bc there wasn’t a drift sheet and it’s acting really difficult like I just spins out and I was fine on gt soort its different to sport just wondering if you have any advice for a tune

I have the same problem what seems to help me is lots of toe out. Very stiff natural frequency and soft damping. Normal diff seems to help me to but that idk

Man that’s so much takumi I’m driving my s15 it’s pretty good I think I can make it better still spins out a bit but what I have realised is that be very gentle on the throttle but thanks so much

If that's how drift smoke works in real life, then that's how drift smoke works in GT.

For me the G29 is fucked up in GT7... I can't go fast as I am in other sims, always go into oversteering with no sense and no control. Also pedals sensivity is fucked up. Hope they fix it soon, in GT SPORT was prefect

Mine seen really twitchy too, I adjusted the feedback settings and it helped some. I also noticed brakes go to full way too soon now

Man, I just can't drift with my G29 in GT7 to save my life. I'm so confused because I could drift super clean with it in GT Sport. At first, I assumed I was just a bit rusty. But, after a few days of trying, I went back on Sport earlier today just to confirm. Sure enough, I was drifting like a pro right out of the gate. Then, for science, I immediately loaded up GT7 again. Not even _ONE_ successful drift. 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡 Anyone else experiencing this? Suggestions?
