Lose the Tomahawk. Race with something else and that crap from the AI will stop.

Thank for the video. Took me a bit to get used to the car but now I love it. First few laps I would get 15 to 20 sec penalties, still managed to get perfect bonus. Throttle control is key with this car and gentle stearin input. First race and I did in 23.15 min, by far the fastest way to get credit currently in the game. Time to get my rubber boots on cause it’s farming time.

The problems are the tyres, confort are not good for cars so fast, the first laps I was always in the walls.

@@antonpaco do like he says, don't go full on the throttle in the straight part of the track and do go over 300 mph otherwise you'll most likely end up losing control and crash.

You always get the bonus, that's why it's the perfect grinding track next to sardegna or le mans. Just when there is a yellow phase where overtaking is forbidden, that's when you can miss it

Once again you have become my savior! I also noticed that the ai no longer moves out of the way to let you pass and will even push you and bump into you so you hit a corner or wall. They really don't want you to make money!

Thanks for the helpful info, this was the only thorn on my game, had not been able to get past 3rd. The easiest money I been making is at 24hr Circuit de la Sarth (World touring 700) and it’s the same price money at 825K for a super easy track only 30min, I’ve managed to race multiple cars here and win every time, thanks again 👍

There are several other cars that can still win this without the handling problems. I've done it with an RX-7 and a Murceilago. I've read it's also been done with a Diablo and a Chaparral 2J.

using the right analog stick at 20%+ - and at open road at 65%+ - top speed of 430 i won the race at Tokyo Expressway so thank you for all the helpful info thanks

Who believes PD "purposely allowed" the Tomahawk back because of the relentless pushback from community because of killing all the "glitch" cars and STILL not having cars available to sell, split screen STILL not working, and the lack of replayability via the season/franchise mode through the Cafe missions, as we were promised it would be.

@@Empire. How many people do you think are jumping back on the game now? It's the easiest thing they can do without doing any real work that they can easily take away later... Just my opinion anyway... Also, how many people are complaining on forums, Twitter and here now, besides me? Because it's something those people can "take advantage of" PD. Either way, it won't really increase my time that much because I'm bored of Tokyo and want the expansive career mode I thought I was going to have.

The big part of the game most of the updates are geared towards is Sport Mode and they still have that broken with penalty system, lobbies, and tons more. They are mirroring exactly what EA did( at least EA took a couple of year before really ramming it home) by getting all the players to look at the MTX part of the game or through forcing them into it. Then they have done nothing to improve that part of the game. Just more advertising to get more people into it and spending. SMH. PD is taking a dark road and I fear where they go next.

I haven’t experienced the original glitch but this current setup got me a 1:22.9 fastest lap and completed the race in 19:40 with 20 or 25 seconds worth of penalty. You can pretty much run at 170-180mph through the chicane section and also at the last right and left turns you can run around 200mph if you time it right once the track dries. This car definitely tests your confidence when taking the corners, but the feeling is worth it when you can go as fast as you dare lol

Just a tip, Do everything but the hairpin in 7th. It massively reduces wheel spin and allows for full throttle much faster out of corners.

My personal best so far was an 18:12 with the Tomahawk and while with the fuel map set to full lean. Now gonna try full power and see if I can beat my time.

The fastest laps I can manage is 1:27 without hitting the barrier. The boost feature is soo tempting but the second you use it its very unstable and twitchy. Love me some 20 plus second penalties

I’m consistently getting 19minute races. Quickest race 18:30. My best advice with this car is going faster than you think you can go in corners as it really grips up with speed. Also, if you feel like you’re about to lose grip, just hit the brakes and the aero will save you completely

100% back that up, I think the feeling of grip loss is what hurts most runs especially leaving the corners I find a quick throttle release or up shift solves that problem. Also noticed when that wobble hit slap the brakes for a slight second & the car pretty much readjusts itself. Nice tips👍

@@Gojira_Prime The key is to brake as late as possible and take the mid section corners as fast as possible. The car has more grip than you're led to believe and recomposes quickly upon even light braking.

@@lammyjammer6670 my best lap time I 1.40, I tend to lose control and it doesn't turn very well like it used to, it just face plants into the wall, maybe because I have it on expert and not one with better control like beginner or the middle option

You can hit well over 300mph on the dry laps at the end. But you have to be straight and not touch the steering.

I STILL remember this track lol. Used it SO many times with the old Tomahawk build. Though it is a little different this time around. With the physics patch updates, and it being a new version of the 600pp build, it has become more challenging. Not complaining though. I'm just siked I get to use the Tomahawk again!! ABSOLUTE LEGEND MATE!!!

Before paych 1.17 the a.i. would move some out of the racing lane to let up pass

21 min first race, then 19.5 min second race. Best lap 1:29.995. I use a controller. I turn off stability assist but keep counter steering on. TC set to 2. I wish the Ai was better though, they straight out try to kill you when they get lapped.

It's not being lapped, they try to kill the Tomahawk in general. I did this run with a Lambo and won. The AI were gentle as a box of puppies.

I ran a 20:08 with about 40 seconds of penalties. fuel mix 4, TC 5 at about lap 3 the track is just about dry enough to go almost full throttle around the whole track. first 2 turns after the straight entry speed of 110mph+ possible 😋. the rest can run at about an average of about 220 without braking 💯 until the turn before the U-turn, there, I lift and can reliably hit that turn at 180 in 7th. I brake at half before 150 sign and handbrake around the corner. fastest lap, 1:33; did nearly 2 seconds faster but penalties slowed it down 💔 very hard with the controller, tho💪🏼

I'm my testing of setting for every hight level car I have wished to try. I have found that your settings for this can and some other cars works to lower there overall PP. I feel after finding that this suspension trick will work on some but not all other cars. That the cars I get it to work, are our Easter egg cars. I feel the Easter Egg Cars are in the game for those that are willing to take the time and understand tunning to it's fullest. An the prize for enriching your self in this sim is a low PP high power car that you can use to your advantage. But once said cars are posted for others with with out them finding it there selves. Those posted cars are patched!😲

It's worth noting Acceleration Sensitivity does nothing to affect PP. Increase it to 60 and you'll have a slightly easier time handling the vehicle.

@@noname47032 I saw someone do a video (forgot who, sorry) about what differentials even do. The acceleration one at the bottom controls how much power you give your car while turning, I guess? And maxing it out at 60 helps control the back end a lot. Induces a bit of understeer, but that's okay especially on cars that snap oversteer like the Mustang.

As long as you are above 100mhp/60kph you can full out on all corners. After 8 laps you’ll be zooming

Done a sub 17 minute (16:54) and it can go even faster. The methods and explanation in your video are pretty much spot on. 15 minute runs are incredibly unlikely though. But 16:30 can be possible or even a bit lower. I have the video on my channel.

I find that constantly tapping the throttle gives some extra grip. Don't treat it like other cars. You have to treat it differently.

So i am guessing this does not work in patch 1.25. cause i bought a 3 mil car to do this and it didn't work

How are you getting under 500 pp wirh no modifications mine is at 1180 with absolutely nothing done to it.

What is the drag reduction system and how do I avoid it?

Also you can run this entire race with no pits. It'll take a little more time but it's doable lol.

On the straight, you can go from 7th gear to 5th and start accelerating like crazy, but it's safer once you are running al least at 200-250km/h.

When cornering, try to be at least at 220+ km/h. You can even do a whole lap going at 300+km/h, but the car turns so much that is super easy to hit the walls. Aero is crazy in this car.

You can hit every car and wall and still get clean race.

I've been keeping the throttle under the bar don't go faster then 250mph, it can fully do the whole race without pitting, i stay on automatic though 🤧

Trust me when I say put it on Manual and simply stay on 6th or 7th gear. It makes it a million times easier to handle because you won't spin out when you give it throttle. Once you get the hang of that, you can drop to gear 1 on the hairpin at the end just to help rotate the car, and jack it back up to 6th again before you start to add throttle again. Besides it just making the car easier to handle, it makes it so you don't need to touch the fuel map. At least give it a try. You'll be glad you did.

Nice guide as always. My fastest starting lap was 1:39,7 Fastest lap after round 6 was 1:23,2 Fastest race time was 17:48 So I can do 3½ races per hour That means 2.700.000 per hour. And I will do 10.000.000 a day before it is getting patched

Why do people do this if even when you’re good it takes 20 mins (roughly) a race, instead of using a de tuned group c car at 24hr spa like the 787b or the silk cut jag that which earns you 1.5mil for an hours driving? It absolutely kills the competition even on the hardest difficulty. If you’re considering doing this I suggest a 2 stop strategy, using hards extend your stint as long as possible until it rains, then inters never full wets. You only have to refuel once on the first stop (use the leanest mixture of fuel for 4/5 laps after you refuel then go back to rich). You’ll have to stop again for another set of inters or hard slicks however be careful if you go to hards as weather can change quickly. Hope this helps I find it a lot better than this

This is a better glitch car, but honestly a stock ford gt wins this easy for me everytime

To those who say it doesn't work, IT DOES - i've just done this twice within the last 45 mins, on Monday Sep 5. Just a shame i can't stop getting wall penalties as i've averaging about 1m 55secs a lap at the moment, so it's taking me about 80 mins to it 3 times.

I'm the one who said that and I stand by it. I've tuned multiple cars to win this race. My cars actually stay on the road and can still win with the 1.21 patch. Come talk to me after the next couple of patches and we'll see whose car/tune works and whose is barred from entering. I post my Tokyo 600 tunes on here BTW, and my tunes for other grind races are on the GameFAQs bulletin boards. Give them a try.

I don't think the owner of this channel posted the tunings to give us the most incredible driving performance in history, the whole point it to make money fast, so for those purposes, IT DOES WORK, regardless of future patches and updates. I'm pretty much the same way about LeMans, however, there's a unique thing about Tokyo, it seems like the rain is different in that the puddles hang around for a long time & little or no rain hitting your windscreen... Keep in mind that during the video as Nathan says the track is completely dry, the track moisture indicator bar is at 1/4

100% agreed. I haven't seen nearly the cheating from human and AI players alike on the races at Spa, Sardegna, and Le Mans. Even the Tokyo race is fantastic when you tune a car properly for it and chase them all down for the win. Folks are on here griping about the AI, and I had the same problem until I parked the Tomahawk and drove something else. The cars that win Tokyo are not the powerhouses that win those other three races or carry you through the game. Winning Tokyo consistently, patch after patch, requires sound strategy, a different approach, and knowing what *not* to bolt onto the car.

Of course they'll patch it as quickly as possible! Can't have people getting credits too easy since their game is so lacking in replayability. Smh. Seriously, if this "glitch" is quickly fixed before selling cars and split screen (I'm giving up on expansion of cafe or anything else regarding a season style mode for single player) then I will shelve the game and just play Forza Motorsport 7 to get used to it and prepare for 8. SMH. PD really let me down and broke my heart.

Gran Turismo could have made this possible, but they like to use the licensing excuse, even though they would EASILY make it up in MTX and game sales. All they'd have to do is what the said was going to be done in Sport. Make an online used dealership likened to CarMax, carvanna, etc. And then have all those cars in the game. I don't want to hear about rendering and modeling and programming because they took 5 years to get this out, had a lot of assets from Sport to also use, and didn't. Just my opinion anyway
