I got caught on the Nurburgring when the game was transitioning into night Time in a Amuse Carbon R “R34” and was wondering why things on went pitch black forgot the car never came equipped with actual headlights. It’s was hilarious!

@@SnussOverdoseI don’t think the change is bad, in my opinion. Yes it’s less funny, but it’s better for racing. It provides a large braking zone, which increases the probability of overtaking itself, but even if an overtake is not completed there, normally the car ahead has defended, causing them to go off line and have an inferior exit on to the start/finish straight, which provides a battle of bravery going in to the first corners. This is also applicable to the final hairpin at deep forest. Racing nerd paragraph over.

I went for the Shelby Cobra fully upgraded on the historic car cup. Only campaign races that actually were challenging, dear lord beating the Chaparrals and Toyota 7s was hard.

it's still available, unlike gt6, where you should kludge some things to make basic features work, Track Editor is one of them

@@poyayaan I recommend you to install Master Mod (1.8.1, to be preciese, because in last version (1.9.1) author f*искed up one thing I'll mention later), this will put your enjoyment with GT5 to the max: it adds hidden PS2-era GT/TT courses (in last update they mistakenly hid some tracks again, which is fixable, but it's hard to say for me, is it worth your time, rather than just plug'n'play (yep, mod installation is pretty easy if you follow the guide, which by itself isn't that hard/long)), adds event creator, tool, used by Polyphony devs to create any carrer event in GT5, that now is in our possession, enables many dev menus and features, hidden cars, *expands list of basic features of the track generator...* look it up for yourself, there's still too much to write about, you better expirience it by yourself

Ohhhh, Trial Mountain last turn. Takes me back to 1998, lol. Just managed to crash and lose the lead and jumping the curb and doing a 1 wheel wheelie to the line was the only option, otherwise it's 5 laps all over again 😂

GT5 was, in my opinion, the best in the series. So many people hated it for its main menu, but i loved it. It was the ONLY game ive ever played that allowed you to hand your cars over to friends so that they could use them. And it has its own museum with historical car facts i havent been able to find anywhere else. I honestly miss it. GT6 was just a glorified DLC, as was sport. GT7 just feels like a continuation of where 5 left off. GT5 is peak for me. Bought it day 1, placed in the top 500 in GT academy, and had a blast with my friends. I honestly miss it.

The sea monster and monkey is gone in deep forrest raceway and trial mountain now en days 😢. That was the first thing i looked for doing a lap around the new tracks in GT7.

I did it with the race modified '70 Dodge Challenger. Tuned to the max with the best tires. Still very difficult, but I did it nontheless

0:38 I was trying to figure out what I could use that wasn't either not fast enough or 20 million credits and what I managed to finally win the damn thing with after literal years of trying to find an adequate car for it was a Shelby Cobra, with balls-to-the-wall tuning, and it can just about shrug off a Chaparral 2J at Monaco if you just keep rerolling so that it starts way down the field.

I remember I started the 24hr of Le Mans and found out my car didn’t have headlights after 7 hours. Good times

The Nurburgring at night is nice, unless you’re in for a challenge and driving the Toyota 7. 😅

Dont forget the pickup truck challenge that i had to beat It took me 100 tries to get 1st with a 1500 LARAMIE in daytona

No kidding i used to try blocking cars just so i could get the Vertigo not last place lmao

you can play gt6 online on an original ps3 (no cfw), gt5 only with cfw. I know all of this since I was involved with the modding community.

Am I the only one there who still can't get over what Poly did to the Grand Valley Speedway? Layout is very similar, but they changed everything else, it just completely doesn't feel like classic one anymore
