You know, refering to your description, I never played Gran Turismo concerned about the AI. I was always competing against myself. Trying to clock better times. Trying to keep consistent. But that is just my mentality. I can say, if it took you lap 80 before you got bored, that's not a bad look.

Glad i found this walkthrough make feel like you played!!

The nsx race car engine sound in gt3 for me is the best of all.

Gran Turismo 3 tracks felt very personal to me. Rather than have tonnes and tonnes of tracks. They picked awesome tracks that are unique and memorable. Deep Forest was great with its slopes and turns. Tokyo Route 246 this was I liked to race on. Grand Valley Speed Way was just beautiful. Complex Ring is out of this world. Laguna Seca Raceway is kinda been there done that as it appears in every racing game; but that other American track, Seatle Circuit is awesome. With that section where the car leaps in the air.

Tokyo Route 246 is pretty much my favorite race course in Gran Turismo 3. 💙 Japanese Style. 💙💙💙

I agree it is one of my favourites. But what about Deep Forest? Don't get me wrong it's hard to choose a favourite. My list is Tokyo Route 246, Deep Forest, Complex String,

Man, in 2024, i still have my original ps2 along with this game and gives me such nostalgia, able to complete the game since didn't have a memory card back then but now, nearly beating the whole game except for the license tests, their really hard to complete

I forgot that the GT3 R246 was 100 laps instead of 60 in GT4...

In GT4, this roadmap has 60 laps to go

20 goddamn pit stops? I always thought that the tire wear in this game was bullshit.

he fitted a soft copound tire, super hard tires would take 5 pits I guess

It is. Even if you drive slow your tire will get the same amount of damage.

Lol I remember in GT5 I was using the x2010 on the tsukuba 9hr race. About 4hrs in I bugged the pit stop so the ai was driving the car around the track. Thought cool I can sit and relax. Unfortunately the game thought the track was the pit lane so it would never pit and once it "ran out" of fuel it would just do the track at 80kph. Unfortunately I had to do quick math and realized the other ai cars would catch up and beat me. I really did not like that 9hr race so I really had to force myself to do it again.

I have sometimeswondered howmany hours I have spent out of my life playing video games and how my life would be different if I had spent that time inthe gym. Just from playing Gran Turismo 2 through 6 probably took at least a year of my life.

Is there a fuel gauge somewhere? I don't see it. Can you run out of fuel in Gran Turismo 3?

No, Fuel was introduced in the next game, Gran Turismo 4
