Kimin and Elena were terrific here. And good job Keenan, our American girl at the upper right at 0:49 :) She has a lovely presence, I just want to see her smile more.

She's such a treasure and only among second soloists...O_o Definitely deserves promotion. Strong and beautiful dancer she is.

pediatrapaola I can't deny that Elena has some problems with capturing the style but her technique and personality are superb. Deserves being a leading soloist, imo. But yes, we can only dream about it :/

reanimato1 imo she is a so called workhorse ,when strenght virtuosity and admirable dancing is needed she is always ready and needed when is moment of promotions and easy fake triumphs she is forgotten and clearly awful skorik is in first line

pediatrapaola Exactly. I wouldn't say it better. She has a repertoire of Kirov principal and rank of a junior soloist. Very sad.

reanimato1 and she is not the only one in that situation .btw anyway imo the most depressing situation is in male principas roster where apart the phenomenal kimin kim and the good but not exceptional skhliarov we find two washed boring dancers like ivanchenko and korsuntzev the awful askerov(whose principal rank is unexplicable)and the good but old kolb really a sad situation ,and also among the rising males there is yes some good dancer like stepin popov latypov or ermakov ,but l don see really top level dancers like in past decades,do you agree?

agree ,many mariinsky "PURISTS" are not happy he is in mariinsky but imo he is far better than the most of mariinsky guys

Forgot to mention our English friend, Xander, doing a fine job here. All 3 non-Russians were well represented here. Xander is moving up the ranks as a soloist- will be interesting to see more leading roles with his future wife, Yulia Stepanova, lol!
