Hi. I am from there. The problem with those low prices is that the workers have a very low pay. They should rise the prices just to pay a proper salary to the workers. Always think that if you pay low prices, the workers have a low salary.

Las Palmas is a lovely city, we docked there briefly when we did a cruise around the Canary Islands a few years ago.

Hey, this is Calle Perojo crossing with Calle Murga in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. I'm very often there, just today about 12 o'clock. At min. 2:11: This yellow old style building is the "Politécnico de Las Palmas" - the Polytechnic Grammar School, one of the most emblematic educational institutions of Las Palmas in Calle Canalejas. My daughters studied there before going to the university.

Lots of new renovations walking from where the cruise ships dock to Las Canteras beach, it looks really nice.

There is a lot of traffic because it's exit time from the schools and college for students (about 14:00). 😉🙂Many classic spanish buildings are placed in Gran Canaria Island. I invite you to view some of them in Vegueta area. They are so cute...

Hi wee Kev.I.N, there is a Spanish chain of sandwich shops called Pans and Company, sandwiches, rolls, salads and deal of the day offerings. Its a cross between Subway and Gregg's 😋 Its just more than a cheap take away. Where they have an outlet near a beach its uber busy. They can also serve beer too to wash the rolls down with. Keep an eye open for them. Cheers DougT

paddys anchor bar in a basement along the waterfront id a great bar, just dont touch the guinness there. Tropical on draft is great though. they show all the football in english too\ Nice staff,

i actually go the school that appears at 5:00, when we have breaks most of people go to that retaurant called la planchita, the food is great and affordable, so cool that you made a video on it :)

Honestly, this resort is great for a holiday and I only wished that you were able to stay for a couple of days more and get to know the area, it has a good beach, good restaurants and a city life where the women can go shopping while the men can have a afternoon pint. It can be cheap and it's different to a resort . Would love to go back

Meloneras has the best shopping. There’s also a new mall in Puerto Rico.

Jameson's is a lovely whiskey, much smoother than scotch.

Hi again, wee Kev.I.N on GC (Tenerife?) There are Pepe Chiringo, fast food outlets. Top notch chic wings N chips, sliced frankfurter sausage and chips, think you get the idea, ideal for coming off the beach to for a filling snack before evening restaurant meal. You can suck your fingers for ages getting the taste of BBQ chic wings/sausage/ribs etc off them 😎😋 Cheers DougT

You can buy Guinness in many local supermarkets Nowdays for around € 1.70 or so, also there is another Irish restaurant with a terrace in Triana main shopping street.

Saw a bus crash into the back of another at Los Cristianos bus station in Tenerife December 2018 - almighty bang the driver pulling in just didn’t see it, they were is disbelief!! Luckily it wasn’t my bus!!

Buenas noches, ciertamente es Canarias, pero concretamente este señor se está moviendo por el barrio de Arenales, en Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. Él mismo nombra varias veces a Las Palmas. No es la isla de Tenerife, así como no está la Playa de las Canteras en Tenerife, ni tampoco las dunas de Maspalomas, cómo aparece en muchas propagandas, Todo ello está en Gran Canaria Un continente en miniatura.

Capital of the island. It is very densely populated with high rise building sometimes right on the edge of cliffs.

Cash is King.

A paradise!!!! I'm from there and I can say this is a lovely place for living, the people are really nice and the culture is big enough to spend hours every day.

Yes and the whole city is riddled with tunnels for traffic as well. Literally tons of them. Surrounded by several ring roads too.

true, but maybe its cause a lot of tourists expect canarias to be more arabic considering we are located geographically in africa + very close to sahara and morocco. this is why a lot remark the fact that we definitely have spanish architecture instead of arabic, like for example andalusia on the iberian peninsula, which mainly has arabic architecture.

@@philwanadoo7435 bueno soy de la isla de al lado y viendo la diferencia donde enseñas mi isla hermana me gustaria recomendarte una visita y una pequeña guia si te acercas a gran canaria, desde tenerife puedes tomar el ferry a agaete entonces tendras un hermoso puerto colonial y el unico cultivo de cafe en europa tendras mucha gastronomia en los pueblos de agaldar y santa maria de guia te recomendaria despues de visitar lo que estos tres pueblos historicos tienen para ofrecer, sin duda recomendable descansar en los hotelitos cerca los roques en el hombre, te encantarán los comentarios si tienes oportunidad de acercarte, disculpa si he escrito algo mal usé el traductor
