My dear brother, the Answer to the Qn no.65 is absolutely correct; the verbal phrase 'look over' does not mean to ignore or avoid or let it go by any parameter. The synonyms for this word are: inspect, observe, supervise, take a look at, give a look and look through...hence, the first duty of a cop is to look over the crime and then it moves with 'look into' means to investigate....so, first step will be to observe the entire circustances and then initiate investigation...hope u understood.

My brother, just consider, it's not the word 'overlook' means to ingore. But it is 'look over' a phrasal verb means inspect, observe....etc.....

QUESTION 49 COULD ALSO BE " PAYS " ME MORE MONEY. IN QUESTION 65, THE POLICE USUALLY, LOOKS INTO A CRIME TO FIND OUT MORE ABOUT IT. IF THEY LOOKS OVER A CRIME, THAT MEANS THEY ARE ONLY LOOKING INTO IT, BRIEFLY AND NOT IN GREAT DETAIL.
