hey Steve, enjoy your reports. Here is my report from Jersey County. I live about 50miles north of STL in sw central IL. April corn is starting to tassel and June corn is just coming out of the ground(about 5% that flooded along the creek I drove it on Saturday and estimate 8000 acres). May corn is 1-3 feet tall. Our last rain was a week ago we received .2" and June 8th we had .4". Some corn rolls inthe afternoon and gets that dull gray green color as it can't keepup with evaporation. Forecast for our area is .2" rain on Sunday morning. acccording to the weather man (Nutrient Ag) most rain looks like it is going to stay north of I 80. We will need more rain soon to have an average crop. Did you try sitting outside in the heat for a couple hours ? Beans are just coming out of the ground to 15" tall. thanks harold
