Its a shame this group couldn't work out the kinks and remain 10cc . This was an epic band.

Just an extraordinary bunch of guys. Legendary. Well ahead of their time. It is always a pleasure listening to them. In a class of their own. The Things We do for Love must be one of the greatest pop songs ever written.

When the lead vocalist leaves the band isn’t the same. Loved Eric’s voice and charisma in the 70’s ❤️

In my opinion Meanwhile was the best album after Deceptive bends (Stewart/Gouldman) I agree with Graham that the album missed the 10cc sound. But I loved Jeff Porcaro's (Toto) contribution. For me "Wonderland" is one of the best tracks where Porcaro's sound is amazing..

Seen them on 2 occasions in 1993 uk tour, looking back it felt like they were going through the motions . Have met Eric a number of times always been a joy to meet him. Wish they would come together but I think there is too much history between them. Such a Shame!

Do you want to hear something crazy? When I contacted Graham's management for the interview I told them about an interview I did with Andrew Gold a few years before he died and how he had such great things to say about Graham. So I get the interview and I totally forgot to ask about Andrew and Wax..Nuts.....John

Think due to the fact that they weren't writing and recording it at Strawberry studios, and the special "vibe" that the original 10cc had possessed in the 70s wasn't there, and unfortunately this experience left a bad taste with Eric Stewart.

Great interview! Graham Gouldman is a truly wonderful songwriter/artist. Did you ask him anything about the 10 CC Mirror Mirror (1995) album, or if he has any contact with Eric these days?

I don't think they've had any dialogue with each other since the '95 "official" split. Eric does talk with Lol Creme since they are in laws. But Eric has more or less retired from the music scene and last i heard is living in France.

Doesn’t sound like it was a proper reunion. What went down for the 10cc reunion album sounds a lot like Klaatu’s experience with their “Endangered Species” album. By the way, If you could interview John Woloschuk, that would be a feat in itself! Shame we didn’t get more from that musical genius...

That album has good songs on it. The production, however, is uneven. 'Like no one could invest time in nurturing/experimenting with the ideas. The legacy or talent of the participants becomes moot under such circumstances. Some did what they did to expedite unfinished contracts, etc. The biggest novelty was hearing Godley and Creme vocals again in spots. I guess you could say that this is what a 10cc album sounds like when they don't own their own studio and someone else is driving the bus.

From most accounts, none of them did. They'd all been led to believe one thing, but when they got there, it ended up being something completely different. "Meanwhile..." ended up being a bunch of studio musicians with 10cc as special guests. And then Polydor had the nerve to drop them just because the album did poorly. They should have just stood aside and let 10cc do what they did best. It would have been great to have some new Godley and Creme flight of fancy like "Somewhere in Hollywood" or "One Night in Paris." Post-Godley and Creme 10cc were decent enough, but they really didn't do whimsy very well, definitely not like Kevin and Lol did.
