I came in here to comment on that. It is like visual ASMR. The speed, confidence and control are amazing.

Never understood why graffiti gets such a bad reputation. Sure, it's in bad taste when a tagger/artist does vulgar works, but even when it's just their name, when done colorfully, it livens up a very grey area and makes it look so much better.

I think it’s because the majority people who do graffiti in the big cities are not actually artists, but just punks who do horrible vulgar things on other people’s properties without consent. It’s kinda sad, because it’s a beautiful art who gets bad rep ´cause of some dumb people. At least there is still people like this guy who makes public places look more colorful and awesome

@@arielpabon4462no thats not true. Real graffiti writers have a a list of unwritten rules/codes of ethics for example not tagging on private property or belongings of civilians, or another one, which is to not paint over a street art murals

That’s a beautiful design. The visual balance of all the flourishes is perfect. I do often wonder, as an artist myself, if you ever feel limited by the ‘graffiti style’. It seems the majority of graffiti artists draw from the same 40 year old style guide. The tools have improved massively, but the lettering and flourishes are very similar. I like to try different things, use different media, and I wonder how graffiti artists, for the most part, seem so satisfied with the same approach. Granted there are plenty of techniques to draw from, but if that said anything other than your name, I might confuse it for someone else’s work. Do you find it hard to differentiate yourself other than your tag?

Graffiti Is Born illegal. In some countries if they catch you, you will end up in jail or even severely beaten by Police. Hell, a guy i know was shot in a train yard by a guard for doing graffiti (he survived). The style has Always adapted to this peculiarity of the movement and that Is why most of graffiti seems from the same book.
