There was this layup in Hamilton about 25 miles north of Cincinnati about 5 minutes from my house and lots of people would go there. I'd take tons of pictures in 2003-2005. Lots of IO, Cern, Gamble, Five, Timber, etc. I remember in summer 2004 I walked down there and smelled fresh paint and then saw some brand new Sigh pieces and I think When. Then I realized it was cuz everyone was in town for Scribble so someone brought them up to my little hometown layup. It's all gone now and is a bike path. The factories that needed the trains are all closed, sad

I remember one time, it was probably Spring 2005, a friend and I were walking tracks behind Tri County Mall north of Cincinnati and saw this wall filled with handstyles. Naceo, Saint, Zephyr, a bunch more, it was crazy. My friend posted pics of the wall on the big graffiti forum and Arys messaged him all mad and warned him not to mess with anything there and then we learned from someone else that it is Met's sign in wall. Probably from when Met would take people to the nearby Tropicana spot

thank you, this video just went up for an hour in the middle of the day... lol, usually late afternoon they pick up momentum. but then again the almighty algorithm is what makes or breaks this kind of stuff... a lot of things that I share in these videos been running through my head before the algorithm existed so I just enjoy being able to share my perspective.

God damn, Cincinnati running for 2021 style capital. Grew up with this era of DF writers and seeing the love for Rapes is fucking moving. Never seen a wave of tribute pieces at that scale and quality before. Newer guys are burning shit too, Avert and Snack are on it.

Totally agreed. As weird as it sounds I don't even like when I can tell someone put a lot of time into a piece, I'm much more into the homegrown street style bombing rather than actual artistic ability even though it is appreciated and respected.
