Thank you for sharing these exam videos as they provide a glimpse into a very famous school. At 25:10 there is a single dancer you name, and say she's a soloist at the ___ ballet. I could not understand either name. I tried to look up the names I thought it might be but I haven't had any luck. Could you please provide the names? (Unless there is a privacy issue, of course.) Thank you in advance! Edit: I think I have found her. Ksenia Shevtsova, 2012 grad, current principal dancer at Stanislavsky and N-D Music Theatre ballet company. 😍

These girls are at the Vaganova ballet school. They are still students, so they take a ballet exam at the end of every year (9 years in total) and they get marked. If they fail they can be send away. If they succesfully graduate they go to theaters as working, paid dancers and they perform in productions like the nutcracker. The ballet exam shows what they have learned and what they are capable of technically and artistically

Why did yiu stop preforming Maria Khodova is great on tenique i think her low point is that she does not promote the character in the ballet she portrays she projects herself noe shes also into teaching

Hard disagree. It’s interesting to hear her perspective as she was actually there. There are plenty of other Vaganova exam videos without any commentary from the students.
