I'm amazed you didn't address green Bay Massive upgrades at safety n running back There's a difference between a 5 to 10 rb And the best running back currently In addition the corner n safety was addressed n a pro bowl linebacker acquired If green Bay gets tackle receiver n corner not necessarily in that order we can compete for a ring NOW

Carolina grossly overpaid for Robert Hunt, probably by at least $40 million. Also, Tony Pollard is clearly better than Spears. He has been throughout their careers. Pollard had an off season because he was dealing with an injured leg all season. Before last season, Pollard was a game breaking RB & a threat to score on any play. Paying Danielle Hunter $48 million guaranteed for 2 seasons is also an overpay with his age and injury history. Despite your opinion, paying $100+ million dollars for any player will cripple a team when it comes to signing future free agents.

I also appreciate that your don't cover the off the field nonsense and aren't constantly bombarding your audience with ads, often trying to get me to gamble. Keep it up bro. The Ridley deal when you look into the specifics isn't bad at all. 10mil this year, 23 next year and a 10mil out in year 3. If they keep him year 3 for mid 20s again he is only a 5mill dead cap after that.

You’re forgetting about 30 mil in signing bonus which is evenly spread out over the deal, making that 2025 cap hit of ~30 million dollars a huge over pay. They also have no way out of the deal without a huge dead money charge until after the 3rd season, after which they will have paid over 70mil for a guy over 30

Seeing the latest narrative getting pushed about how Caleb Williams should force a trade from Chicago is completely crazy to me. Caleb is going to have such a stacked deck of receivers in Chicago with the potential to add even more at #9 overall with Bowers, Rome, or Nabers. I think I'd be pretty hyped to go to a team as the #1 overall pick that went 7-10 last season.

Kirk for $180 million is not a good move whatsoever unless they win a bowl. That's a D, maybe C move at best. If they got him 4yrs/$80 million sure that could be a low A but Kirk is not ever going to be worth the cash he finessed from 3 teams.

I want to preface this by saying that I've been watching your channel for awhile, probably over two years, so this is a common thing that is said throughout many videos and in many different situations. And I intend for this _solely_ to improve the quality of your content, there are no other motivations. 0:09 you say "some teams have *went* all in", however it should be "some teams have *gone* all in". I'd include a link, but I know KZread used to remove comments that had external hrefs, so I'll just say to Google "have went vs. have gone" and check the Grammarly result that comes up. FWIW I don't use Grammarly like some people do who live by it, however they end up not knowing anything at all and using it as a crutch, much like a lot of AI out there now, but this does explain it well. Basically, you're wanting to use the past tense of "to go" as an adjective, which is a _participle_ and gone is the participle of go. You've said this throughout I don't know how many videos, many times in the context of reflecting on a decision "to go for 2". I want to reiterate that speaking correctly will enhance overall quality of the videos, and I mean nothing other than to help in that way. And before anyone says that I'm grammar police, I've sat on this for years, today was just the day for whatever reason, and I'm a software engineer, not an English nerd, I just know how to fucking speak correctly. Love the content, man 👍 keep at it

Minshew is here to mentor and back up AOC4 our starting QB . Ps outside of this take love your channel

i think fields can still be a good starter in the league, and thats why pitt went and got him. granted he was thrown into an awful situation, and will never be what he could have, but to say he's not a starting level qb is wild. he almost beat the lions twice last year (lost one bc a defense choked a two score lead). lost to the packers in wk 18, which he get's heat for oddly, even though they went on to embarrass the cowboys and barely lose to the niners. hell he would've been a 10 win qb last year if he didn't miss multiple weeks due to injury.

You can use coaching as an excuse all you want, but we've seen the on-field product Sam Darnold has put out and he's been abysmal. Also, without Hunter, the Vikings are going to be in purgatory for the next 2-4 seasons and never get close to the playoffs while never having a top ten pick.

I only ask as I saw on the 2 major sites that he was projected to get 17-18.5M per year on his new deal entering free Agency and the Steelers got him for 13.6M per on a 3 year deal. Even low end thats 3.5M per year cheaper than projections.

Vikings free agency pickups so far. Parker Romo (K) Jerry Tillery (DT) Dan Feeney (OG) Aaron Jones (RB) A.J. Green III (CB) Jihad Ward (OLB) Sam Darnold (QB) Shaquill Griffin (CB) Jonah Williams (DL) Trent Sherfield (WR) Blake Cashman (ILB) Kamu Grugier-Hill (ILB) Andrew Van Ginkel (OLB) Jonathan Greenard (OLB) That's what happens when you unload your "franchise QB" (and his massive contract) who has trouble with big games. I'm not saying that every signing is a home run but they certainly addressed a lot of their problem areas and set themselves up to move in the draft to get a top 5 rookie.

Kirk leaving was the best thing for the Vikings! He has never performed up to his contracts. 6 years later we got from Kirk was 2 winning seasons, 1 division championship, 1 playoff win. We guaranteed him over $100 million for basically nice stats. Now that Kirk’s gone and we don’t have to pay that ridiculous contract anymore, we can actually infuse the team with young talent.

I would love it if Minshew blossomed with the Raiders and was their starter for the next 10 years. He really would be the perfect face of that franchise and also has far better hair than Mark Davis. I imagine their approach in 2024 will be mostly hassling Mahomes as much as possible with defensive pressure. I think Kirk Cousins will just be an old, mostly average QB for Atlanta and they won't win the division. The Bucs are better off with Mayfield now under contract for a few years. Mayfield has twice as many playoff wins as Cousins, after all.

Gardner Minshew, out of 45 qualifiers during the 2023 season. He was around 40th in TOWP %. * TURNOVER WORTHY PLAY* He cleaned it up a bit down the stretch but the bulk of the season he just doesn’t play clean football. His talent is decent but he can’t be a mature starter and play clean football. He still learning the game and how to play and a pro level. Not a good signing. They just saw he was free agent, a pro bowler and jumped on it. Not a good signing. Would’ve liked to see them trade up for a QB or look into grabbing Russ for 1.2
