Gracie Combatives 2.0 is Here (The Ultimate Beginner Jiu-Jitsu Program)

13 years ago we set out to create the most comprehensive beginner jiu-jitsu video program ever produced. Combatives 2.0 is amazing. I have been doing 1.0 for a while and 2.0 I is such an improvement. Fingers crossed my martial arts school will become a CTC this summer.

I took the Gracie Combatives that was taught in the US army rangers and 101st airborne in the 1990's. It was useful to know when I was a peacekeeper in Kosovo in year 2000 enforcing martial law. I had to arrest a lot of people for violating curfew and terrorism. My videos of that deployment are on my KZread channel.

One of my Drill Sergeants at Camp Leonardwood in 1999 was a Ranger who had learned the Combatives program from Royce personally. We were ALL in awe of him. (You have to remember, the UFC was barely 6 years old and Royce was still the biggest fighter in the world). I had already been working in nightclubs & bars and taking Gracie Jiu-Jitsu when the original Combatives program was released publicly. I love it and think it made me MUCH more capable to handle situations in security or self-defense, and I recommend it to everyone, no matter their level. But especially beginners. Because the program really is the fastest way to street readiness available.

You know what would be really cool, partner with VR(virtual reality). People will be able to actually see right in front of them(VR) with you guys' training techniques. That would be like taking lessons in person instead of reading a book or watching videos on the internet. Would be like they are actually taking a class.😎.

Guys! Just finished 15 straight days of 1.0 with my three boys, as I purchased it a couple of years ago then sidelined it until now. Will there be a discount or upgrade program for us previous purchasers?

Can people still test for the combatives belt using the old videos?
I remember having this stuff on VHS, LOL :) Yeah I'm that ole! :) I have to sell all my ole stuff then and get the new 2.0. :) Wish they had the Fitjujitsu with it.
1.0 got me in pretty good shape
I try all the time to get my wife into BJJ and no luck. I am glad they are throwing in a solo drill.

IMO, those who bought the whole original Gracie Combative should have access to the 2.0 program, but I doubt it coming from the Gracies.

Oh lordy, the entitlement. That's like saying _I bought a 2011 Honda Accord, I should get a 2024 Honda Accord for free!_ 🤦 It's a new product & which they've leveled up the production quality. The only discount I forsee is an early bird discounted price. Edit: Per the description, there'll be an $80 discount during the launch party in February.

Same here. Combatives 1.0 should be grandfathered in. Upgrade with no charge. Just my opinion. I just looked at the website and 1.0 is still for sale? And will we be able to access the 1.0? It would be horrible ro find out once 2,0 is released i can no longer finish learning 1,0 because its not on the website anymore. Maybe a page should be added for those who want to keep 1.0 since we thought we owned it..

bruh, I literally just watched the lesson 01 Trap and Roll Escape of these two and thought "man, it'd be awesome to have a newer version". smh
I just started the original Gracie Combatives and now there's a better version which looks amazing... now what?
Oh my goodness why are there not more courses teaching this. This is exactly what I have always wanted. I can't stand the competition BJJ stuff with endless "bro" cult like mentality and long drawn out techniques that are totally impractical and useless in the real world.

You got my attention when you started throwing in combatives tips. This is outstanding you just went from like Dewey Ramsey jiu jitsu to Matie @tacticalcombatsystems only one of these guys hunted Somalian pirates and cartel members. And he's an expert counter-ambush knife fighter. I'll let you guess who.
